OK. If you want the Dollcatcher achievement, send me a PM and we can try and set up a time to get it for you! ;p
Thanks for your help deowolf and AnteCantelope. To the folks that sent me PMs about this volunteering dolls, just give me a time and I'll get out there for ya.
Also: If you already have a set of dolls, and you want to help others get this achievement, you can pop the achievement for other people by having them join as a henchman and buy and resell one of your set. come out of the trader just to be sure that the difference in inventory is logged. doing so counts as completing the set again, and you will pop it for others.

So my roomate bought the LE and didn't get a card. He since has moved out, but today called me from his work and said he got his LE code in his e-mail, but he doesn't have the internet at his new place and would sell it to me for $5.
I'm debating it, but wondering - can I use it on all my heroes? I'm doing a 2nd playthrough now in order to

so I can fully explore Knothole, since I did not do that with my main/favorite guy, and want to get the most out of my DLC. I want my main guy to get the cool LE stuff, but I'd also like my 2nd hero to be able to use it now just to play around, as I won't be doing much with Hero #1 until the DLC comes out.
I read if you got a card in the LE, you could use your stuff on all heroes, but if you got it via e-mail, it's one time use. Any truth to any of this? I don't think I'll give him $5 if only one hero can use it....

I got it via email and it gave it to both my existing hero and one I started after I got the email.

A common glitch or a new one among an ever growing list?
I invited a friend to Co-Op play and they reported not having any character sounds that could be heard on their end when doing social interactions or other in-game things. He said he could still hear music and other characters, just not his own.
I joined his world and experienced no problems.
I suggested he try and remove the game from his HD, and play off the disc. And still no change.
After my first Co-op play I had to delete the game from my HD and load from disc in order to get in again. When I reinstalled I was able to play from HD just fine...
Dollcatcher Achievement
K. I think this is the last time I'm going to post about this directly since it feels spammy, and somewhat silly. Barring any unusual circumstance, I'll be around to pop this achievement for more people tonight. I'll pop Fable in to get the guys who've PMed me starting at 7:30 PM EST to 8:30 PM EST, or whenever I hook up with the dudes who've PMed me.
It only takes a few minutes to pop, really. So, if you would like to get that achievement, PM me your tag. I'll invite you to my game. Shouldn't be a problem, unless random strangers invite you to games all the time.

I want the achievement, so if you could try to plan on a weekend day to announce you guys are doing it again, that would be great. I work until midnight EST on weekdays, so its hard to do.

I got an XBOX 360 with Fable II for Christmas from my girlfriend after slaving away in the kobold mines (shopping at walmart, seriously everyone who works there looks like a kobold.) for six hours before braving ice-slick roads while berserk milfs behind me are swearing at people for flooding the cross-sections of my local commercial area.
All I had to keep my spirits up in that time of hell on earth was the thought of resting in my cushy chair with a beer and to play Fable II until my eyes bled. That's not what happened though...
Fable II hates me and decided to freeze every 10 minutes upon entering the game. FUCCCCK! Are you serious Lionhead? It's been god who knows how long since the release, I want the game to work!
I tried clearing the cache because I read the initial LIVE update caused the issues, well that didn't help. So I'm trying an install to the HD.
Has anyone else had this issue or solved it?
Also, since I have LIVE it would be sweet to get some friends on there. Tag is: Mind Liberator
I played the bundled Lego Indiana Jones game for about an hour without a hitch, and there seem to be no other problems with my system. I've also read that there a lot of others experiencing this problem specifically with Fable II.

It's likely to be the game. I've lost count of the number of times Fable II has crashed on me, but not one of my other games has so much as caused a hiccup. That game is buggy as sin.

It crashed all the time for me until I installed it. It hasn't crashed once since then.
BTW, I've got a problem. For a while I thought about turning my character good, so I ignored an assassination job that I had got the contract for. After the time limit expired, the job didn't go away from my quests/jobs/maps menu, so I sold the contract to a bookstore thinking it would go away. It still didn't.
It didn't take long for me to change my mind about my character, so I went and killed the guy that was on the contract. Even though he's dead and gone, the job description says I still need to kill him. I bought back the assassination contract thinking that would fix everything, but no.
Long story short, I can't do any more assassination jobs because the game refuses to recognize that I killed the target.

Have you gone to the Spire yet on that character? I had a similar thing happen on my evil character, but it fixed itself after I got back from the Spire.

If I download it with my account, and my wife plays couch co-op with me, will we be able to do the quests together? Or will the quests only be available if she downloads it too, like the online coop?
To give the achievement out as orbs I'd have to gift all 5 dolls, then get them back... The way we just did it is much faster. You don't even have to load your saves, or anything really.

Purchasing the DLC will let any profile on that 360 use it.

Protip for the kids out there: It takes about 50 murders to go from full-on good to evil as sin.
And only 300,000 gold donated to a begger to make you full-on good again.

I am truly annoyed that the DLC is being released on the 22nd. I'll be in Ireland, far away from my 360. =(
Guess I might have to take Fable 2 with me and snaffle some time with the 360 where I'll be staying.

Not yet, but I think I'll be going there soon.
Damn. Forgot my save is on my 20 gig hard drive, and I've migrated over to a 60. It's gonna be a few minutes while I recover my tag back on the 20.
If nimble cat is around, I can pop the achievement for you now as well. :U
