Can someone explain the Stop N Swap mechanic, how it works and what it does? I see it mentioned every so often but never an explanation other than it was suppose to be in the old Banjos but didn't make the cut.

AFAIK you get the stop n swop stuff in Banjo Kazooie, and it lets you get special parts crates in Nuts and Bolts.
One is located along the side of a large island in the lake area. I do not think you need the floaters and propellers on your vehicle to get them, since you could swim out to it and just carry it while you swim.
Never knew Banjo was a fan of the cock, but those pictures do not lie. Think I'll get some of my Little Jack recreation tomorrow.
Hey, speaking of the Stop N' Swap feature, anyone know how to get the codes in the first place? I mean I know I can just look on Gamefaqs or something, but I'd rather find out in game what I have to slam down in the Sand Castle. So far I've seen like 3 egg locations on the floors of various places and the Ice Key, but no such luck at getting the codes.
I think we were originally given the codes through Nintendo Power but that's how I originally saw them. I'd be willing to bet Rarewitchproject found them first and then someone submitted them. However those were the ONLY ways to get the codes. They were never given out officially because most likely they were going to be revealed in Tooie.
To get the Stop n Swap items now, you just need a N&B save. That save acts like a master password for all the stop n swap stuff so the island has risen, the casket is open, and all that jazz.
Does the demo of Nuts and Bolts let you progress beyond the first level? I deposited three jiggies like I was told that I needed to, but didn't recieve anything for them.
I decided to try that Bottle's minigame now that I finally got all 900 notes and wow, those are some awful controls. I don't remember that game on the 64 having the joystick sensitivity set to 11. If my controller was made of ice it still wouldn't have been that slippery.

I think it lets you open the door to act 2 but if you go in the demo will end. If you glitch yourself through the barrier though you can see the rest of the town and one level of Klungo Saves the Earth.
I'm almost at the end of BK Arcade, just have to beat that collect three more Jiggies, complete the stupid board game and beat Grunty. Oh, and beat the bottles jigsaw puzzle and find all the honeycombs. Fuck.
I did the domino challenge in Jiggoseum last night. It was awesome.
Also, fucking YES to finally, after TEN FUCKING YEARS, being able to go into the Sharkfood Island cave and get that damn egg. I've been wanting to do that for TEN YEARS...

It makes rude noises at you if you spell out CHEAT on the floor. I tried going through a couple of the full Stop & Swop codes just to see before my N&B came in the mail, and no dice. I dunno if any of the rest still do anything.
I traded in Mirror's Edge for N&B, and it just doesn't feel like a Banjo game to me yet. It's a fun game so far, and I do like it, but I can't wait for BK Arcade to get released to the marketplace. I'm eBaying Banjo Tooie today probably if I can find a good price, I can't believe 12 year old me sold it at a garage sale.

Does it sound like a cow mooing?
Because it did that in the original game.
Yeah, I guess that's what it sounds like if you've never heard an actual cow :P. I never knew about the cheats when I originally played the game so I didn't know that.

Well, it's not like they had much space on the cartridge
Oh my dear lord, the beginning of Nuts and Bolts is priceless! Rare's got a damn fine self-deprecating sense of humor. And that first achievement you get... that's got to be the funniest achievement ever.

I love the description of one (I believe) the floater, which is something to the effect of "If you don't have this part attached to your vehicle, you sink in water much like this game at retail". I got a good laugh out of that one.
So I've played for about an hour or two now and man, this game is fun.
Building vehicles once you have some fancy parts is awesome!
Although I might have to start making specific purpose-built craft now, rather than a carrying/shooting/racing/bouncing/flying monstrosity with neons, mirrors, spikes and pot plants...
I find myself hoping that when I actually get the full game, it will have tiny, tiny wings available.
For some reason I want to build a giant jet, then a tiny propeller-based plane it can detach from, then use some other kind of removal method to turn it into a tiny car/boat by removing the tiny, tiny wings.

There are collapsable wings, and they are smaller than the the normal wings you use...
So you can build that giant jet, have it break apart for a prop-plane with collapsable wings, then collapse the wings to get a land craft out of it.
I finished the main story yesterday. Fantastic game all around. I can't wait to have time to finish the XBLA one and then do it again with Banjo Tooie when it comes out.
I have 97 jiggies, but I don't want to burn myself out on Nuts and Bolts just yet, so I'm going back to other games for a bit. After playing this, I had the strange compulsion to play Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise. I can't imagine why I'd want to do that.

Fuck yes!
How detailed is the physics? If I, say, put a propeller in an enclosed space, would it still work?

It's TrogCarDor! the Scrapenator
Now time for N&B woohoo!
Andf that flamethrower weapon is awesome.

Yeah that did feel pretty good huh?

My little brother's playing BK.
He didn't get the Wonder Wing move, but he got the final move you're supposed to get in the game, the Running Shoes.
He got the Move Master Acheivement anyways.
The previously-mentioned exploding snare. I like to call it the Bear Trap.
And my favorite, the Little Jack! Harpoon Cannon... Fire!
EDIT: Dammit. I'm going to need far more body pieces and much stronger wheels for this. Also, some kind of entry-tube.
I guess it didn't get delayed?
Sir. Thats Little Jack is amazing! That has just made my morning!
Also did anyone else install this? I love being able to listen to the great music without that jet plane in the background.
Youtube Channel!

Huh? It's not on the marketplace if I turn on my Xbox.
If I DL it from the website, will it definitely work?
EDIT: It worked!

I haven't built anything really cool on my last few plays, I need to step my game up!
There are many others like it, but this one is mine.
Fuck yes!

It'll work, the physics are pretty forgiving.
