Heh, I don't think he was even trying to turtle. He just had no idea how to deal with the fact you got an minor early lead on him and built on it.

Also, I just realized I completely forgot about the hammer's secondary fire for almost the entire soviet campaign.

I buzzed you but I guess you were already in the game.

If anybody else wants to play co-op either in the campaign or comp-stomping I'd be interested. I'm pretty terrible at the game, though, so any competition would be a steamroll.

i just played a game with superweapons and heroic v3 rockets raining cluster rockets on allied inf that lasted 40 minutes, it was pretty epic.

Damn! I've never really tried using V3's cluster rockets.. at least seriously. Got any tips for it? Does it own infantry particularly well? What about light armored vehicles? Should it be used against tanks? Force fired in the middle of a moving crowd? In front of them?

i never really used it much either until that game... seems like its only effective against clusters of infantry (and boy is it effective), against tanks i stick with primary fire.

That's pretty accurate. More often then not you can just roll in with Winblades and overwhelm the anti-air. Take that out asap suffering minor casualties. gg

Yeah T-Winblades are pretty powerfull like most air units, but only when the opponent doesnt scout. You can only steam roll people with 1 single unit when they dont know its coming. Ive seen people quick teching to twinblades ill have enough flak troopers and or migs to beat him back enough for a counter attack.

If you hid your airbase in the ocean or w.e where the opponent cant see em being built then yeah its definitely gg, but otherwise "no dice". This is the reason i like this game. You can't really spam units against good players and get away with it, and scouting is CRAZY useful especially when the odds are against you.

Only if cryocopters can be called ninjapwncopters.

just take 4 of them + high tech, and you can freeze even tier 3 units at a good pace for your army to shatter, even with a decent amount of ground AA, since you can freeze them long before they can shoot you down, unless they spammed a shitload expecting your buddy's winblades.

Empire mission, the one where you must defend a harbour against the Allies: where's the best spot to put the Defender cores you start with, and what units should be pumped out?

That was a pretty difficult mission. (by the way, play it on hard if you aren't already)

Um.. I don't recall exactly where to put the defender cores, but I know that building a group of Ttankbusters and sending them to the top right shore will help out a lot. The allies send lots of Assault Destroyers to that shore without really any anti-infantry so the Tankbusters will make short work of em. That won't last forever though. But it should buy you some time. I dunno how I beat it. It just happened. Took me several tries.
