best game i have played for a while, i get knocked off the land and my opponent says gg and assumes the game is over, but i already have a base in the water warning this is a long match.

It's not really the man spam that's the problem. I can take care of man spam in any other case. Bears. Hammers. Sickles. Whatever. It's just that there isn't really a way to defend your base from laser-locking infantry that are up on a ridge. You know that one 4 player map that was in the beta?.. where it's mostly water and only 1 of your ore nodes was overlooked by a ridge? Yeah. It's like that, except it's your entire base. And if you want to defend it, you have to go aaaall the way around your base until you reach the entrance ramp. Which is probably guarded by the transport that dropped the infantry off in the first place. The logical thing would be to jump a couple of sickles up there. And who knows. Maybe that works. Though I wouldn't count on it.

So Brutal Empire is just as easy as hard Empire, but Brutal Soviet is completely ridiculous.
Fuck terror drones
You can solo a brutal? Of any faction? That's impressive. I find the Hard computers ridiculously easy and the Brutal ones ridiculously impossible.
Brutal Empire can still be destroyed in under 8 minutes by just building twinblades and MiGs. With no AA infantry all they can do is build Tengu's and they're no match for MiGs. Turrets don't do shit either, 6 twinblades will drop one in a few seconds.

And why do you say that fast warfac > crane build? Wouldn't you obviously want a fast crane vs Terror Drones? Soviet's only real harass unit?
terror drones aren't used much in soviet mirrors as harassment early game (unless one of your starting nodes is on water) b/c good soviet players always always always always wall up their refineries. fast warfact will let you get a sickle to their base before they can pump one out themselves. This means you can get a sickle to jump into their harvester spot and force them to put it in secondary, giving you a slight economic advantage until they can ward it off with their own sickles.
Conscripts are largely useless at the moment. ESPECIALLY when it comes to clearing out buildings. If they were any good at that, I'd use em, but they're not.
Lets say 1PK is garrisoned in a structure. You bring some Conscripts to clear it. While your guys wind up and throw the molotovs the PK probably gets 1 shot off from the building and walks out of the building before the molotovs hit. Or he could just get out of the building before they even throw the things and start tearing them up. If the conscripts decide to switch back to AKs, the PK instantly enters the building again and starts tearing them up like that.
It ends in an annoying dance, walking in and out of buildings really fast, switching modes trying to catch your opponent where you want him. Against a good player conscripts will never clear out any structure. Unless you just swarm the damned thing with 10x the cost in conscripts. But you wasted your money anyway. Molotovs are too slow. Rifles are too weak.
In comparison, PKs are great at clearing buildings. And IWs are quite decent too. PKs just put their shield up and walk forward. Chances are they won't get taken out en route, and the enemy has no choice but to get out of the building and let the PKs get in instead. IWs run at it really fast. If the opponent stays in the building, he gets taken out. If he exits the building, he gets cut down by a sword anyway.

i was going to post something about conscripts suckyness as garrison clearers and as general anti inf, PKs are imperial warriors are both much more cost effective as anti inf and garrison clearers... its like you said molotovs are just to slow to clear garrisons. also it should be noted that with imperial warriors when they are clearing a garrison your unit dies along with the infantry in the building and imperial warrior and PKs cost more than conscripts. Right now PKs are super good, imo they should nerf their damage against buildings and light vechiles, its ridiculous how fast they can take down a sickle
I think as far as balance goes right now the game is pretty good, they just need to make the units and abilities that are rarely used in multiplayer more useful so you will see them... im looking at you conscripts and tesla troopers
