London is a very diverse city with people of numerous ethnic backgrounds. Why can't there be a black Bond? It would literally bring some color to the character. Now, he couldn't be some thuggish Jamaican or something off the streets. He'd have to be a very polished, refined character. There's nothing stopping the character from being a black man, it can very much be done.
What about P Diddy (who expressed interest in the role) or Denzel Washington. Terrence Howard isn't tied up with Iron Man either.
And he can be a Muslim.
Although that wouldn't work. 00's have to kill two people and after he gets his first kill he would already have been blown up.
