I think someone here recommended GtkAtlantic a long time ago. It's a fantastic version, probably the best, but even so it's not the most stable. Games will sometimes freeze up and you'll be forced to reconnect, and it seems like lag gradually builds up and the game becomes clunkier near the end.
The Westwood CD-ROM version I own isn't all that great, either, we tried playing that over Hamachi and it managed to fuck itself over during a trade.
Pogo.com has a version, its alright I guess, but it's browser based and you can't make up your own custom rules. Only up to 4 players instead of the traditional cap of 6.
It's such a fun, easy going game too. It's weird that there's no online version that's suitable, they all seem to be clunky, missing features, or have no semblance of good netcode. Please tell me I'm wrong and that there's a good version out there...
