Tomorrow is officially the release day. Lots of Wal-Marts released it as early as the 11th (not ABQ ones *sad*), and I think a few places are just receiving late shipments.
Also, the bundle is $69.99 and the regular is $49.99. A lot of places say they don't have the bundle, but Nintendo sort of decided to do bundles at the last second, but I know GameStops will have them in. They were not available for pre-order though because they were in the system much later than the regulars.

Say, am I the only one who had a character from Wild World but chose instead to start fresh because I want to re-experience the whole thing from the start? Of course, my guy's still called Djiem, and the town is still Shamrock, but it's a new map (which I had to reset to obtain, the first map sucked and was really impractical).
EDIT: Ooh, two songs. K.K. is feeling generous. Too bad I messed the spelling on Go K.K. Rider! I got Chorale instead.

I can't wait to play. I honestly have no clue what I love so mch about Animal crossing. I am surprised that I actually like it Its the kinda game that you look at and youre like "How can this be any fun?" and then you never stop playing.
I completely agree. I've been excited about this game since it was first talked about a year ago or so. I'm so sad that I have to work all day tomorrow. I was looking forward to playing this all day.
Hopefully, after it is released we can do a monthly guide with all of the fish, bugs, and events of the months listed.

There is a package with wii speak for $69.99. I'm know that not all stores will be carrying the bundle. That's from what I've heard anyway. I'm pretty sure you're right about the wii speak channel coming out in December. I'm pretty sure that you have to keep a code that comes with wii speak to even download it. It won't be available to people that haven't actually bought it.
*edit* I'm pretty sure most gamestops will have the bundle. You can also buy wii speak separately for $30.

Sorry, there was a giant amount of confusion with Wiispeak. Yes there are bundled version that go for 70 bucks. (wiispeak by itself is 30, so you're saving 10 bucks). Gamestop didn't have the bundled versions in their systems, but they were shipped to them, so they'll have them in stores.
Amazon updated about 10 days ago with a new City with the Bundle.

Well, I'm enslaved to the raccoon again. You guys happy? Didn't get the bundle cause twenty bucks for a mic that can't be used in any other current game didn't seem worth it to me. Plus I'm cheap.
i just texted my friend and asked if she was getting it anytime soon. she said pretty soon, so i asked if she'd get it in time for us to celebrate thanksgiving in the game.
Well I went to my gamestop and got the bundle. It was 69.99 so you save 10 bucks on the Wii Speak. My gamestop had about 20 bundles left and that was after the pre-orders picked theirs up, so no one should have problems finding one if they want it. I'm thankful this came out this week, Now my wife will stop playing fable 2 and that open's up the 360 for some left 4 dead.

I loved Wild World, will I like City Folk? I am looking for a little more then just playing WW on the Wii. Do you feel like you have a new game when you are playing CF or do you feel as if they ported WW with one or two new features?
Oh I am concerned that CF will be used as a terrorist communication device so I am somewhat worried that I may be put on the terrorist watch list for playing it.

So if anyone is still curious, if you have a Wii AC character named Bob, and then transfer your DS dude named Bob, DS Bob keeps his name, so you'll have 2 Bobs in your town.
So, I restarted my game because I didn't like my guy's face. Now, I have a new town, it's pretty sweet but not exactly as cool as the other one. I just finished the pain-in-the-ass work for Nook, and now I wonder if I should redo the town again or play in it... such a dilemna... I know I should only play for so long in a town I know I'm goint to love, but I don't want to start over again.

Well you save 10 bucks buying it in the bundle now. That's why I got it, Just it case its used for something else.I don't know of another game that will use it though.
Basically all you get is that character and whatever they had you can get with the catalog. You cant directly transfer anything like bells or items. So if you had a character with tons of stuff, all that stuff will be in your catalog from the get go.

All that transfers is your character (so face, hair, etc...) and their catalogue. You don't take your money, your house, or anything like that, just the list of items you've seen in Wild World.
