So on October 3, 2008, my two wonderful daughters were born...Pictures below

Introducing Madeleine Joy

And Scarlet Elizabeth

Anyway, for Christmas, I was hoping to find some cute one-piece outfits or baby tee-shirts with some Nintendo theme (Princess Peach would be perfect).

Problem is, no one seems to make such things. I mean, you would think it would be a no-brainer for Nintendo to branch off into toddler clothing, but I have yet to find a store, either in reality or online, that sells such a wonderful product. I've done a few Google searches, but so far I have not found a darn thing.

If anyone knows of where I could find something close, I would appreciate the help.

I've seen some cute baby stuff at Hot Topic. My favorite was the r2d2 onesie.

Honestly, you might want to wait a few months before buying them some nerd ware. Babies will grow out of and destroy clothes, and I imaging themed, hard-to-find clothing will hit your wallet hard.

New born clothing can rarely be cleaner than after they've warn it. They sleep like 20 hours a day.
Don't get baby t-shirts though. They will ride up no matter what and just be annoying and less cute for everyone involved.

Do you sew at all or have family that does? If so this is your awswer.

Not only can you make gaming clothes but you can go to thrift stores and garage sales and make unique and inexpensive baby cloths by the stack.

Check out Etsy. I don't recall if I've seen any specifically Nintendo themed onesies, but I've seen some good geeky/nerdy baby stuff on there.

That is an awesome idea. The Mrs. CoJoeTheLawyer wants a sowing machine for Chirstmas, and she is always looking for little projects like that.

And yes, I know they outgrow outfits fast. In fact, they have already outgrown most of the newborn things people gave us as presents. However, I can always buy a size or two larger and let them grow into it.

Jinx is always one of my favorite places.

Also Think Geek is another favorite.

Since the misses is into sewing, you could always pickup a nintendo shirt and have her turn it into a creeper.

I could see a 1Up creeper being awesome!

    Just some side advice:

When you procure your babys' clothes try and buy in 3-6 month range. I've found that my young one has stayed in those the longest so far, so you would get your use out of them.

Mine actually skipped 6 months and went right into 9 months. We actually found it better to not buy clothes in every size, just every other.
Granted though, my son is pretty big.

I know what you mean, my first born I think may be part nephalim we're not sure yet. I was thinking that since CoJoe has girls they may be smaller (especially twins).

My girls are big for twins (at 1-month mark, one is 9 lbs, 6 oz, the other is 8 lbs, 11 oz.) and have healthy appitites, so I think they'll stay on the baby clothes scale. One of the things we've noticed is a lot of clothing we've recieved is going to be too small, being they've already outgrown the initial newborn things, so I'm going to go a size bigger and get more use out of anything I buy/make.

Seconding etsy. Just post an alchemy request (basically asking for quotes to fulfil your order). It's very cost effective, etsy sellers are great.
