Firefox downloads corrupted

For the past few days now every file I download through firefox is corrupted and will not work, at least exe files. I've tried 4 or 5 from completely different places and they all say the same thing: check the integrity of the installer, file might be corrupted, etc. Anyone else had a problem like this or know what's up with it?
