The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
With issue #111 of Ultimate Spider-Man, we will finally see someone other than Mark Bagely draw an issue of the title. He will be replaced by the new regular artist Stuart Immonen.
I am a huge fan of Bagely and one of the things I love most about USM is the unbroken art style throughout it's entire 100+ issue run, but if there has to a change, Stuart is a pretty good choice. I enjoyed his work on UFF quite a bit.
Immonen's actually pretty flexible with his style (as seen in his work on Superman: Secret Identity). I'm looking forward to seeing what he does with USM.
Round of applause for Bagley. Nice to see an artist stick with a book for more than 3-4 issues.

I own that megazine in that article!
I loved the megazines. They were awesome.

Sweet. Immonen is awesome. Every once in a while I find he draws someone that looks like he or she is melting, but I think that just adds to his style.

Immonen on more books is never a bad thing. While I would rather see him work some other property, it's likely that Marvel signed him exclusive for this reason.
Props to Bagley - it'll be interesting to see where he goes with the cred he's built up on USM.
Hopefully Bags goes on vacation for a bit. 110 issues in a row is mind boggling and he deserves it. Also good news on Immomen doing the book. Although I hope that he does it in a style different than the Nextwave books, doesn't seem like it'd fit with the ultimate universe for some reason.

His work on the 2nd UFF Annual was good, it fit the story well while still clearly being his style. He has a real gift for light, fun work while still keeping things clear and I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do here.

He did a run on Ultimate X-Men, so I think he can handle it.
Also yeah, I'm really surprised Bagley stayed on so long, considering that he got burnt out on Spider-Man in the nineties.
I'll be very honest, I hate that you have a name that is 1 character different from mine...... I barely have presence here as it is, I don't want that little bit mixed in with your's.

Nothing against you though. We're cool.
Yeah, you told me that a few years ago. Unfortunately something messed up when I made my real name "sharptenor" and I had to be a little creative. We'll just have to make sure we don't use similar avatars.

Immonen is the most underrated artist in comics. He's got an awesome cartoony style, and his page breakdowns are fantastic.
Except the way he draws knees bugs me.
But other than the knees, awesome!

Wait, does this mean Nextwave really is getting cancelled? Or is it getting a new artist?
Nextwave was announced as cancelled last week.
I think there was even a thread about it.
I loved secret identity so much

Stuart Immonen, I am sure this man can make Ultimate Spider-man look as great as possible though.
But I'm dancing right now

I'm referring to the decade here.
