I never really felt too gyped for being a good guy. The game doesn't really make a habit of dangling something in front of you on the condition that you be evil to attain it.

i didn't feel gypped
i just felt like i did the noble thing in lieu of the easy/profitable thing sometimes, which is fine and exactly what i wanted

Between the schematics, the tesla armor, and the railway rifle, I'm waiting for someone to make a conversion revealing the Fallout series as the prequel to Arcanum. All they need is for some strange psychokinetic powers to start manifesting in a subgroup of pointy-eared mutants. Then you've got your super mutants for ogres and ghouls for zombies, and basically all you need to do is throw in some frock coats and corsets and you're there. Hell, they've already got a top hat model. And a wide variety of Victorian facial hair.

Also, I feel like the dart gun and railway rifle should be harming my karma somehow. I mean, I get that it's a rough world and sometimes you gotta crack some heads. But there's killing in self-defense, and then there's going out in the desert to cripple people for fun and then staple their limbs to the nearest vertical surface while laughing like a maniac.

run in a direction, if the signal goes away, run in the other direction. rinse, repeat, until you find the place that's broadcasting, loot that shiznit, and then wander away again

(how often does paralyzing palm work? I'm more tailored to firearms but i'm not too shabby in unarmed combat)
