Is anyone running Fallout on an MBP, last generation? I'm trying to see if I can run it and I think I can, but unfortunately stupid www.canirunit.com appears to be unworking.

Is there a way to clear my cache on the 360? The game is starting to freeze every few areas and it is also sometimes giving me a blank screen when I fast travel to certain locations.
I had the same problem in Oblivion, but I remember somehow being able to fix it.
It doesn't unlock until what, level 8? Too far into the game, IMO. The type of character that would make heavy use of that perk should really get established earlier in the game.

Yeah do a google search for clearing the 360 catch. It's some combination of buttons at start up.
Anyone else have this happen? In Paradise Falls...
Tried to Mezz the one collared girl in Eulegy's home, but nothing happened. Then I went over and mezzed Cutter, the doctor (who isn't wearing a collar) ... and lo and behold the doctor's head explodes.
hmm.. so I just found out through the OP that GNR Radio is part of the main story... I've never been there but I've beaten the game o_0
You can skip huge chunks of the story if you already know where to go.
Which brings up a question I have (main story spoilers)
Can you go straight from Vault 101 to Vault 112?
Yes. You can.
because..
WHAT? Is that programmed into the game?! Don't get my hopes up!
Yeah if you have the mechanist's outfit on when you talk to her to get that quest you can say that. Or if you have the robot expert perk you can skip the whole thing and be like "No I don't need to go there. Let me tell you a thing or two about robots.."

Any other quest responses from the outfit? I want to a playthrough as the Mechanist, or the Antagonizer. Oh lord, that would be funny.

Yeah, mezzing people who aren't designated by the quest will either A) make them freak out and start attacking everything or make their head explode.
Which is too bad. I thought you could use it to talk to anyone who's usually hostile towards you.

No idea if there are but I bet there are other moments when you can do stuff like this. I know there were a few other times during the wasteland guide where I skipped stuff cause my skills were good.
There isn't 9. I guess if you combine them in different ways you could get a fair few more but not 200. Unless they counted female and male character model difference videos and race difference videos.
They would have.
So that Todd Howard (Thats the guy right?) is basically a lying, douchebag prick?
How surprising. /sarcasm
Really, this is the guy who decided that since /b/ decided to spam boards with I COULDNT FIN CAIUS TDIS GAYM SUXXORS!, as a joke(yeah, they DO fuck up everything), that they would use that as the excuse for all of the cut content in Oblivion, and not tell the truth, being that half of the writers, including one of the two dudes who co-founded Bethesda quit and are STILL attempting to sue for the IP, needless to say, Vivendi has deep pockets and it will never get to court.
I mean, the one hundred "new books" in Oblivion that he bragged about?

You can also use a speech challenge to talk your way out of doing Three Dog's quest. I did this, but then went back and offered to help him. I was determined to get to the Washington Monument, anyway.

I tried to use it on the slavers in their camp, since I was doing a cleanout of Paradise Falls. Thought it would be funny. Thought it would be ironic. Didn't think it would blow up their heads.
How is it useful? Thats the perk that gives you xp when you kill someone when they are sleeping right?
Pretty much useful for only evil characters.
You can kill someone without causing aggro, even when someone's lying right beside them.
Ah, I didn't play a very sneaky character. I just shot dudes in the face.:P
I've never found a hostile opponent asleep. Every person I've had an opportunity to use this on would lower my karma on death. Maybe if raiders had a sleep schedule, it would be more dynamic.

I've had a couple of bandit infested areas where I caught them sleeping, but even with halfway decent sneak I couldn't make it all the way to the bed before they woke up.

Bongo bongo bongo, I don't want to leave the Congo, oh no no no no no
On the other hand, it subjects the entire Wasteland to Three Dog's howling and lets him tell everybody in the DC area what a bed-wetting crybaby you are about your dad leaving the Vault.
I think doing that quest and then using Mister Sandman on Three Dog is the best resolution for everyone.

So I'm wandering around the north, and I come across a
satellite tower. Inside I find some codes, and activate what I read about to be a missile platform. It says it fired. Then I go topside and out of the corner of my eye there are a bunch of explosions.
What happened?
It's just an empty reference to the end of Van Buren.
Playing this game reminds me how excited I was for VB.
And apparently, I would not have been dissapointed.
Fuck you Hearve, fuck you for deciding "Hey, I've spent all of our fucking money on this game, and all that needs to be done is the tiles the maps are made of and uhh, nothing else, all of it's fucking done, even the talking heads and voice acting.
Obviously, I need to take out a fifty million dollar loan, stop paying a single fucking employee, cancel this game, sell the computers with the assets, and make a new game, with hookers, and rap.
Also, I need to beat my children and wife."
Of course, he is the man responsible for Superman 64.

Fucking Roy. I decided the only rational course of action was Ethnic Cleansing. EVERYONE in the Tower fell to the mighty justice of Lincoln's Repeater. However, that took my Karma from Very Good to Neutral, and I was kinda wanting to keep this run good, so I reloaded, and only killed the guy in the Motorcycle Helmet for the key to the trunk in the shop, where I loaded up on top-quality merchandise. Enough to repair everything I own and sell a bunch off. I'm now sitting on a couple new schematics and 2000+ Caps.
TLDR: Peace? There can be no peace.
However, I kinda want to do a run through now where I kill EVERY ghoul. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.

This is true. Although I need to stop listening to Civilization. I hear it when I try to go to sleep at night. They definately could have added more songs into the playlist. Or at the very least allowed me to. Ah well, a mod will come along eventually I'm sure (I hope).
Also about that key that Three Dog is supposed to have-
to the cell door in Hamilton's Hideaway. I've tried killing him and it's not on him. I then loaded and tried combing over his entire living quarters/studio and still came up empty handed. What am I missing?

Tag Melee/unarmed, sneak and another. You pretty much MUST use sneak with a melee build.
If you did a good play through, try doing an evil one, or vice versa.
