im thinkin about gettin a new wired xbox controller just for pc
but i dont already have one so dont wanna waste money on a shitty thing
basically i played this demo yesterday and its the kind of thing that probably wouldnt work that well with keyboard and mouse and i dont know of any decent pc gamepads
Chels came over just as I was chasing Jack Knife and her jaw dropped.
Now I'm stuck in a fucking building and I can't find my way out because I'm being shot to hell.
It will work very-well with the PC because it was designed to work with a PC.
Satans..... hints.....
yes, but I think he wants to get a wired controller because they are cheaper.
That and wires are the devil.
Satans..... hints.....
and ps3 controller only works with 32bit windows, so i could try getting xp on another partition just for a few games but thats annoying
i found some logitech controller for about $25 that seems like it should work just fine and if i hardly use it no biggie
it would only be for the odd few games
maybe
Also consider that the majority of the games that you would use a gamepad for were probably designed for the 360 gamepad anyway.

apparently the logitech one is very much like a playstation controller
though i guess it couldnt hurt to diversify my controller situation
goddamn 64 bit os
its supposed to be better
Still, kudos to DICE for trying something new and different
plus yeah whenever you're outside the game is wonderful
oh well, time trials ahoy!
It seemed okay, I'd like to give the full game a try out.
Though it did give me a little motion sickness which is weird because I've never had that from a game before.
I didn't experience this phenomenon but I could see how it could be disorienting for some.
To be honest I don't really think the seeing-your-arms/legs thing really works either.
never gotten dizzy like that at a game before, that made me a little woozy
...well then i played some gears2
and there is one part
i couldn't even look at the screen, bleh
What part?
the part where the locust dude takes over the other vehicle and you have to try and shoot the driver before you get to the single lane bridge
trying to aim, as the non-turret guy, looking at that other car.. i got seasick. carsick. tanksick? gearssick.
Ellen Page is anything but adorable and your avatar just makes me cringe
No way. It took me 4 and a half hours to clear the story, first try. And that was with a lot of screwing up and doing things the hard way (kill no one with a gun for the whole game achievement).
Rent the game unless you really enjoy speed runs.
However, I think I've nailed down exactly what made combat so annoying to me. It's just so inconsistant. Some runs I'll go through and takedown 3 dudes right next to each other
I'll go through it again and suddenly they are actually effective and I don't even get close to them. It makes things really frustrating because it never clearly defines "okay here are things that will work in combat". You just have to try and try and try and hope you get lucky with a retarded machine-gunner.
because i haven't been
Nah. There's nothing special for that. It will be good practice for hard mode, which turns off runner vision. And there's an achievement for beating the game on hard.
Watch Juno to counteract that.
no because then I just get the image of a pregnant teenager chopping off a dude's balls
