Timestamp for PMs

Is there any way to tell when a PM was sent? Or, rather, is there any way to track a timestamp on a PM?

I understand that when a PM arrives in my Inbox, it tells me that time, and it will tell me, I think, when I send a PM. But, say someone forwards me a PM they received--is there any way to know when the original PM was written?

It seems like hitting the Forward button just copies the PM into quote tags for you and doesn't keep any other information about the originating PM.

That's what it looks like to me. I'm wondering if there's any way to access that timestamp information or if perhaps that's something that could be looked into?

No, there's no way of doing that. It's not feasible to implement it without overhauling the entire PM system.

    Dinger.

Thanks for letting me know, though.

Indeed, while the PM system is something like email, it is also completely different and should not be confused with an email system.
