This game is just so good I just finished No Mercy....we played on advanced and had to switch to normal, we versed 2 tanks at the end I just couldn't believe it.
And so many boomers.
This is my goty honestly, I just want this game to do so amazingly well that valve will spend time to do crazy add ons for it.
more weapons or the ability to upgrade/specialize??? i dunno, it seems weird having 2 sets of weapons, you get the 2nd set in the 2nd level and they remain the same til the end?? probably dumb

No Mercy levels are awesome. The first is exactly the same as the demo, the rest are different. The hospital is awesome.

I didn't buy this before partially cause I didn't know if it'd be worth the price, but getting 3 other people in on the deal to get it for $37.50 isn't bad. I just need to get a hold of 3 other people.
Also does steam charge your credit card in US dollars or is it $49.99 in CDN as well? It's been a while since I've purchased a steam game.

My group threw in the towel at about 2 am est. Expert run fail. The demo was a lie.

The end level was just epic, with Team A managing to escape while I pounded Team B to hell with a tank I knocked one dude off the platform into oblivion!!
My servers are still screwy this morning. The conversion from the demo to the full retail is not being handled well. I have tickets in the gameservers so hopefully sometime soon they will get it resolved.

Also, how are the servers? Is it still as laggy and hard to find one, or have more people been running dedicated servers? I'm sure more will appear today as well...

I had already promised that we would play Blood Harvest with a friend of mine, and he was just taking a little while to join. I felt like an ass asking you to leave. This game is so epic. Really, really happy with this game.
On one of the final maps, set in a house we put our "flawless" plan to the test. This game being what it is, the shit hit the fan pretty fast. We somehow managed to slug our way through it, losing the one AI player in the process - then I see it - "The boat is coming!" with panicked cries of "Where?" ringing in my ears. Our luck being what it is, it sails past the house and up to the pier.
Fuck. One of my teammates yells for us to run and we gun it out onto the balcony to be met with 40 or so zombies, I start plowing through them only to hear a cry from behind me, "A hunters got me!" I run back to help, picking him up off the ground - "Dude behind you!" - I turn just in time to see a tank running full pelt at us. My other friend decides to jump off the balcony and makes a sprint for the boat, leaving the two of us with a giant problem.
I dodge to the side only to see the person i just helped up get mauled to death by the aforementioned tank. He screams at me to run, there's nothing I can do for him. I run tailing far behind my cowardly friend who is just about to make it back to the boat. I yell, pleading for him to turn around and provide some cover fire and thankfully he does so. So close to freedom the worst thing possible happens, "SMOKER!" - bam I'm caught in a tongue. My final words were "Don't you let them take me you bastard! You fucking rat!" Dragged off into the angry mob of infected all hope was lost as i watched him sail off to safety.

all the finales are epic as hell and better gameplay than the demo by a lot and theyre very tense and difficult
