Long Runs in the DC Area?

I'm looking for 14-20 mile runs in DC metro area - either NoVA or DC proper. Any suggestions?
Also, when I run with a cotton or tech shirt, I'm fine when it comes to chafing - unless I wear a sweatshirt or fleece over, and then I get terrible chafing, especially when I need covering most - in the rain. Any suggestion as to what to do to keep dry on those days?
The WOD posted above is fine, Mt. Vernon is fine. The C&O isn't paved IIRC, so that's nice for the knees, assuming it's fairly dry. There are running groups in the area that do weekly long runs. Trails in Arlington are good for working on hills too.
Wear a raincoat in the rain? Light, wicking, goretex or similar material. Don't wear cotton in the rain. Post on a running forum, they can probably give you more/better advice. I just stay inside.
Also, if you're training for a marathon in the area, you may be able to find someone online from DC training for the same marathon, and going for the same pace, who knows the routes.
Have you tried an undershirt of the more fitted variety such as UnderArmor (or a cheaper similar option)? I've not used it personally, but I know plenty of people who swear it is the best thing they could wear when outside.

There is also this gel I have heard of called body glide, supposed to be a strong lubricant to prevent chaffing.

Yeah - the underarmor-esque shirts work very well as their own layer. what i've experienced is that when combined with an outer layer like a fleece, they produce chafing.
Thanks for the suggestions - i'm a big fan of the C&O. I'm trying to get a better feel for how to map the arlington trails because they don't show up very well on google maps or an API like favoriterun.
