For months now, my monitor's been acting wonky. Usually, if left on for a while, parts of it will start to fade. It's like like top third of the screen loses its backlight. This happens most often right after leaving sleep mode. At times, it won't even be on after leaving sleep mode. However, turning the monitor off and then on again always fixes in in a matter of seconds.
What does this mean? Is the connector loose and/or wearing out, or is it the monitor? I'm afraid it's the monitor, but do these things really take half a year to go from quasi-functional to nothing?
You know what? Nanowrimo's cancelled on account of the world is stupid.

I'm no expert or anything, but to me, it sounds like the monitor is fucked up.

This world is a dark, dark forest. And if you open up a man, and look into most of their hearts, you'll find disgust and evil. Your own parents, your mother and father, would slit your throat just to get ahead. And when you find a wife, you watch her. And you don't believe a single word that she says. Because, at the core, people are shit.
