So. I'm looking around at various upcoming sales for a new TV for my room. I currently use a 22" widescreen LCD monitor for my PC and I have a standard-def 20ish inch TV for my cable. I'd like to consolidate both of those displays into a single, larger display that will give me HD television and general bad-assery PC display size. I do not know much about these things, however.
My PC currently has a Q6600 running Windows XP with 4gb of RAM and a 8800GT. Would I need to upgrade some to properly display on a TV of that size?
What should I be looking for in terms of specs or brands?
