Nice job Robos.
You could also say how she was the perfect woman who came from the sky and did only good, something something about her being the love of your life, etc..
actually, what i'm looking for them for is i'm having stan lee perform the ceremony and stumble over his lines when it comes time to do so, kind of like what g'nort did in that brave and the bold episode, but with iconic comic quotes.
well, know Stan Lee shouts Excelseor! a lot for some reason. Other iconic quotes...
I'm the best at what I do.
I know stuff.

Question: what is Batgirl (the REAL batgirl, not the "we're shoving barbara down your throats version") doing these days? Still with the Outsiders? And is it still awful if she is?

What was ridiculous about it? We know Spider-Man is half as strong as Superman so Venom being stronger means he can fight Superman. Don't look for holes where there are none.
The BIG Snake-Eyes / Cobra Commander fight. Something like issue 125 I think it was.
I think it was way later. The book ended at 155 I think. The big Snake Eyes/CC was right before that, probably somewhere around 152. I started reading GI Joe when I was in kindergarten, so probably 1989. The back issues were so much better than the (at the time) current issues, even when I was little. Much closer to things I liked (Chuck Norris, Rambo, A-Team).

The DD/Bullseye fight in #49, where Matt carves the target logo into Bullseye's head, and then at the end goes "Phew!"
The DD/Bullseye fight in #49, where Matt carves the target logo into Bullseye's head, and then at the end goes "Phew!"
One of the best fights I've read.
actually, one of my all-time favorite fights is a different daredevil fight from a little later. it's the bit where all the yakuza jump matt and milla in the middle of the street. the one-page panel where matt is just leaping into the air over like a hundred fucking yakuza is so fucking cool. he beats the hell out of a hundred guys!
tlb you don't think a blind guy beating up a hundred superpowered yakuza is ridiculous? i don't know what to tell you.
how about batman facing down wave after wave of ninja man-bat? or the final fight between the punisher and barracuda? that was ridiculous. frank had to kill the shit out of barracuda.
look I like seeing a blind guy decapitating an invincible robot with a stick after driving a truck into him.
seeing him beat up a hundred yakuza after that is small potatoes
also those other two were so good servo
I knew you had it in you

Deadpool/Rhino from Simone's run, that's a treat.
How about the Niceiza Thunderbolts issues (around #70) where the team fights Graviton, and it has a clever scene where every hero but the Thunderbolts is upside down in the air, answering the meta question "Why doesn't ______ come and help out if they're all based in New York?"
Not ridiculous, per se, but the fight between Thor and Bor in Thor #600 is so good it's crazy. Very intense.
Edit: Here's an image that came up in google. Not the best of illustrations, but still a cool page.

In the Obsidian Age arc in JLA, the JLA fought a version of them from 1,000 BC. You had Superman fighting an alien that landed in a Hebrew town and was seen as an angel sent by God, an Amazon from Africa, an Aztec who was like Iron Man, etc.
And it was brutal. They cut the Flash's legs off, and then killed the JLA.
Kyle Rayner vs. Fatality in one of the last Green Lantern issues before Rebirth.
She breaks his fingers to mess with his concentration and his constructs go all wonky. I love that fight.

I was going to say the Fin Fang Foom fight, but there's so many ridiculous things in Nextwave, like tossing baby kaolas out of planes or that whole section in one of the final issues where each page was a different set of Ellis drug induced nightmares are just too hard not to mention.
Of course, we're also excluding Red Hulk punching out the Watcher.
Have they ever had a in comic book reason why Red Sonja wears a chain mail bikini? Someone posted a picture over at the art forum and it got me wondering. Though for all I know that's just how she's presented on the covers, but inside she wears something more sensible.
Can someone here list out all of the available Daredevil trades following on the end of the first Bendis omnibus?
Daredevil vol. 10: The Widow
Daredevil vol. 11: Golden Age
Daredevil vol. 12: Decalogue
Daredevil vol. 13: The Murdock Papers
After that Brubaker starts his run on the title.
Cool beans. I want to know the Brubaker trades as well.
Thanks!
Ask and ye shall receive:
Daredevil vol. 1 & 2: The Devil, Inside and Out
Daredevil vol. 1 & 2: Hell to Pay
Daredevil: Cruel and Unusual
Daredevil: Lady Bullseye
Daredevil: Return of the King - (not yet released)
Marvel is releasing an omnibus edition of both D, I and O and HtP next month I think. Return of the King might be the last Brubaker story due to Andy Diggle taking over DD writing duties soon.
Edit: Not sure why you think vol. 11 is expensive as it's only $13.99 DMV.

Nah, my fiancee would never go for that.
"I will never make a deal with the devil to undo our marriage"
To give an idea of the feel of the comic, here's the vector-work I've done for the cover. I've got to change the date from '09 to '10.
I'll probably start an AC thread soon to keep track of the progress.

I am in the mood for wicked rad fights
venom vs superman was fairly ridiculous

come on guys
you can do better
especially you, servo
Fear Agent has some really gritty down in the mud fights, especially the most recent issue.
Tom Noir vs John Horus had the potential to be really really awesome, but Ellis... went in a different direction.
