I lowered my windows firewall, keep in in the green bars, and yet it disconnects my DS from the wi-fi.

Any tips as to make it work?

When you say disconnects, does it ever connect in the first place?
Not all routers/wireless networks like the DS.

Depending on the router you're using, you may have to manually enter the DS's IP and DNS addresses. Also the DS doesn't support WPA encryption, if you're using that.

Need more details to figure it out, but from what you've said I assume you connect to the access point, but the connection drops during the test, right?

It found my netgear set up fine. How do i manually input the IP and DNS? And how do I know if my router is WPA?
