In the aftermath of 5th grade, my mom had no idea what to do with me for the summer. So she sent me to summer school. The class I had to take was Tea class. Yes Tea class. In the pre 6th grade. I learned about etiquette, types of teas. proper clothing while drinking tea, and that no amount of sugar can some shit taste better. I was the only kid who drank earl grey hot. Only some know why.
The best part was that I got hang out with the hottest smartest girl at the time all summer. The little red head girl.

Memories.......
Also all I drink is water and Arizona green tea.
If my school had a night of tea tasting and learning and buying, I would go to that so hard.
The only tea I legitimately dislike is Lapsang Suchong or whatever
Tastes like fucking smoke
I really really love Russian Caravan, which is actually a blend of Keemun and Lapsang Suchong. It has a pretty unique taste and is nice when I get sick of my usual black tea blends 8-)
I drink tea almost exclusively, I keep it iced and consume about 2-3L daily, usually with no sweetener maybe some milk if it's black. Currently I've got 3L of First Flush Darjeeling (pure black tea, fantastic with a jigger of milk), 1.5L of Rasberry Quince tea (blended black), and 1.5L of Genmai Sencha (Japanese green tea w/ toasted rice) brewed up in the fridge.
I prefer most of my teas to be lighter, so if the suggested brewing time is 3-5 minutes, I'll go for 2:30.
this is utter nonsense
people have different tastes, and some people like their coffee mellower which usually means it's a lighter roast
a darker roast is going to generally result in a more intense, robust flavor
Starbucks does not burn their coffee, they just don't like a more intense coffee
from my perspective, coffee that's "smooth" is basically just weak coffee
I'm going to have to disagree with this.
I like strong coffee, but I hate starbucks coffee. Their shit just tastes like ass. It's not a strong coffee flavour, it's a strong burnt flavour.

I don't even know what this shit is but Harney & Sons' "Paris" looseleaf tea has the most amazing smell. If you make a cup of it, the whole room smells like it for at least half an hour. So nice.

That's a cute story. Get anywhere with the redhead?
No for I discovered that a good cup tea can replace a woman any day of the week in June.
But I did find her on Facebook recently........ummmmm yeah not so hot but she is very prestigious and I applaud her.

It's pine smoked and delicious.

Neither can the Canadians. Their flagship Tim Horton's? Weak and awful.
when I go to starbucks I always get the caramel apple spice
that's a fuckin' drink
Those things are addictive.
Tastes pretty good too!
I'm gonna go make a cup of it.

I tell you, it's the question that has modern day philosophers baffled.
It's not real tea. They use pecan leaves.
Hi5 dude.
I drink a cup of English breakfast tea in the morning, and a bottle of iced tea later, every day
They really are.
It was like drinking tea brewed in somebody's asshole....with an orange thrown in for good measure.
But I do like rooibus, and I have packed peppermint and camomile and camomile and spiced apple to take with me
Caffeine never really has done anything for me
I dont know why but this perplexes me to no end. I've read it over 5 times and I'm like wha?
Caffeine doesn't necessarily stimulate when it's consumed on an empty stomach and for some it does make you drowsy.
One is peppermint and camomile
The other is camomile and spiced apple
Do you get it loose leaf or in those little cake things?
Well no. Just the way it's worded just makes get lost or something. I'm serious its really weird when I read it.
So other then 12 years ago when I drank real tea I haven't touched it since. I dont count Arizona green tea as tea. What is a good brand of green tea?
it's not tea
with ice
With lemon.
Fuck yeah.
and that is an insult to England
and you're insultin' England you're insultin' the Queen
AND NO ONE INSULTS THE QUEEN
I don't get it.
Who actually drinks a black tea cold?
I am so confused by people specifying they drink a black tea hot or cold. There shouldn't be an option - it is always hot you freaks.
hot tea. with boiling water
