Recommend me some podcasts

I've just started a new job, which involves many tedious hours of photocopying documents. To pass the time, I'd like to get in to a few podcasts, but I don't really know where to begin. I'm up for anything interesting, but some of my specific interests include: art, videogames, animation, movies, animals, technology, zombies, the macabre.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Go to Spill.com, they are an Austin based movie review site, so you can listen to those and they also do podcasts on general stuff ( A couple of cold ones) and Comic Books and videogames ( Leauge of Extrodinary Gentlemen)

They are honestly the funniest things I have ever heard. Trust me, you listen to these and you will lose days getting caught up by listening to all these.

    Unfortunately, funny is a no-no. They've got a pretty strict no-noise, no-talking policy, so I can't be caught bursting out laughing. :|

I've only come across a few gaming podcasts that I really enjoy:
    Gamers With Jobs
    1up FM
    1up Yours
If you're willing to listen to out of date stuff, GFW Radio (from 1up) was awesome, though it's probably too funny for you.

This Week In Tech is a a pretty interesting tech podcast.

Kind of a niche, but if you watch BSG, the executive producer does a commentary podcast for each episode which is absolutely fantastic.

NPR has podcasts of most, if not all, of their stuff. I'm partial to Science Friday and Car Talk, although Car Talk is full of laughter, so you might want to avoid that.

I also like the 1up podcasts, along with Gamers with Jobs and Giant Bomb's stuff, but they have all had laugh-out-loud moments for me.

I'm a fan of Diggnation, although it may violate your "no funny podcasts" policy.

The Giant Bombcast is good for video games, it is pretty funny at some points but I don't think you will have a problem laughing out loud.

The Rock Paper Shotgun podcast probably isn't going to make you burst out laughing. This American Life is also a great choice.

It sounds like you work in a terrible place. Radio lab is probably just nerdy enough to not have any laugh out loud moments, same with This American life. Keith and the Girl isnt really about anything, but it updates everyday. Its funny, but I only laugh out loud now and then. Savage Love is great too, and only occasionally super funny. Unless you just bust out in the giggles, you should be fine with alot of sort of funny podcasts. Just grab some over-the-ear headphones so no one can hear what your listening to and stifle.

It's really not that bad. True, the job isn't particularly... varied... But it beats having to rush around and do a hundred different things at once.

Anyways, thanks for the suggestions guys. If anyone has any more, keep 'em coming.
