Yeah, he's pretty harmless now, and most veteran SFII players won't touch him anyway. I've yet to lose a single match against an Akuma player online, and my win-loss record is something pitiful like 15-20.
If you run into Akuma, it's usually some snot-nosed kid who's heard he's banned in tournaments. If you're a serious shoto player, you go Ken.
I find the Ryu/Ken Jump kick + low sweep to be kind of cheap, but it is blockable if you are smart. I guess I can be kind of cheap too with Guile (Sonic Boom, come in and jump kick, right before they land sweep kick).
Just block low after being blocking the jump kick. Do this every time, unless you know they're going for an overhead. In most cases overheads start up pretty slow so you may see it coming. There's nothing cheap about mixups. Just make sure you don't block the jump kick low.

The demo for this is stupid. Stupid stupid stupid. I wanted to see how the game looks/feel and all you can do is local multi. I live alone. A single fight against an AI opponent isn't a lot to ask for.
For people that worried about getting pwn in this game since this thing has long long history. Don't worry, it has a lot of noobs. I hardly touched SF2 in my life (I played CvS2 and 3rd Strike for years tho), but I still manage to do pretty good online.
Some GGPO codes does exist, I saw some re-roll on laggy game. Best online network code ever.

oh no problem. I was worried at first about posting it and then I realized its on capcoms website. The torrent has the flac file format as well as the mp3's if anyone craves their lossless format.
He's balanced. He takes hits like a 4 year old and only hits like a station wagon compared to the truck he used to be. They brought him inline with his appearances in other games.
Won my first match with Ken last night that was pretty pleasing. Has anyone noticed any issues with Street Fighter? I was playing for about an hour or two last night and then wanted to watch some Netflix and it would load a movie for about the first two minutes then my 360 would lock up and I am trying to figure if it is a problem with SF running on the 360 or if netflix or my internet connection are to blame.
I got this game yesterday and am down for any invites folks send my way. I'm more of an SF3:3S guy but I've got some mad love on for Remixed mode at the moment.
So what are the requirements for fighting Akuma in Arcade Mode now?
As far as I could tell you just have to not lose any rounds. I put it on one round matches and easy difficulty so I could get to him faster (just wanted the achievement, heh).
