Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume -- March 17th, 2009
I was worried that we wouldn't be seeing this one, but apparently it's all good. Hopefully they won't completely break the timeline this time, though it's been out for a few weeks in Japan. I should really look up some info on it or something.
It's because one of the core gimmicks this time around is that the main character has a feather from a Valkyrie (one might even call it a plume) that lets people go super powerful in return for killing a character.
Or at least, that's what the promo material said. I have no idea how it's actually implemented or whathaveyou.
VP: Lenneth for the PSP was one of my all time favourite RPG experiences.
I couldn't quite get my head around the story in Silmeria though.
Still, this looks promising.
Silmeria's story was fine until the end. Then it was one ginormous predestination paradox, which cannot end well. I think this one is supposed to take place between the two games, though I wouldn't be surprised if they somehow managed to work in a third Ragnarok.

It's from Hel, actually. The main character(don't know his name) dies and is revived by Hel. On the condition that he send warriors down to her. In order to be able to send one, he has to have their absolute trust.
This is what I've gathered so far. This game hasn't been spoiled nearly as fast as VP2 was.
