A Core 2 Duo MotherBoard question

So I've put together a pretty great PC from what I can gather. An e8500 with a good non-stock HS&fan, 4 gigs of DDR2 1066 ram, a 4870 Visiontek board and a good corsair power supply. Now before I send the order through I'd like to know if I can get a better motherboard than the GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P LGA 775 motherboard for about the same price ( I have another 40 bucks in my bank account that I could spend, but that's the cut off.)

I've heard good things about this boards BIOS and overclocking potential. But it doesn't have SLi or Crossfire, which isn't a huge thing, but I like the option.

You could easily crossfire on the board you've selected. The second card would operate at x8 rather than x16 bandwidth, which is not really much of a bottleneck for PCIe 2.0. It just doesn't include the crossfire bridge, which you could pick up for like 10 to 15 bucks.
