I wish the original Horde races could get some hair styles that aren't like jagged, flat planes vaguely formed in the shape of hair. The difference between blood elf hair modeling and the older races is ridiculous, and they had the opportunity to fix this, they even added blood elf hair styles to humans, but they couldn't add better modeled ones to the other Horde races.
I am incredibly irritated they didn't actually add any real new haircuts for most races and just did a bit of musical chairs with pre-existing stuff. Seems like the barbershop was incredibly close to the cutting board after dance studio got canned.
Plus they may not have horns but the moonkin has antlers and looks totally awesome.

All of the Night Elf Druid forms look better than their tauren counterparts, with the exception of the Swift Flying form. The tauren one of those looks better.

Don't get me wrong, i think you look fantastic for level 12, but i don't like to look like that in Outland. But then i DO have 3 characters starting out there right now so i suppose i'm just going to have to deal with it...

Did you notice his name? I wanted to get the most bang for my buck with this character. Night Elves are the most emo Alliance race. They only come out at night and QQ about trees.

It really hasn't. That's an astonishingly good screenshot. Also I think it's using the updated models, which improve things slightly. (or worsen them, depending on your opinion.)

Yeah, I happened to take some good screenshots there during the dawn. The game doesn't really look that great, the newer stuff isn't awful or anything but it's nothing to write home about either. And for being a game that's 10 years old it runs pretty awfully (it's smooth as butter on my machine but it freaking chugs at work).
I'm getting back into LOTRO. This is my new Captain.

This is why I think people who complain that WoW looks too cartoony are stupid. The less realistic your game attempts to make its characters look, the less quickly it looks like a dated piece of crap.

It would help if they didn't make it look like you tucked your tabard in when you wear one with a robe. Why this has never been fixed I do not know.
well it's better than the alternatives: a tabard dress or the crotch-flap just hangin' out all by itself

But really, that didn't matter. It had an incredibly huge game world that you could immersed in regardless of the poor engine.
