This is the comprehensive voting thread for Matches C and D
You are to vote for the order you predict the competitors will finish in. Points will be given to each competitor based upon your placement. Alongside each selection you make, give a reason. All votes that are posted without an explanation of why you chose that person will not be counted. The explanation does not have to be long, or detailed. For example, you could write 1 – Dr. Strange: he is pretty much powerful as fuck.
Each first place vote is worth four points. Each second place vote is worth two points. A third place vote is worth one point. And a last place vote costs that competitor one point. I will be watching the votes against very carefully.

Shade: I think he wins just because he can avoid direct confrontation

Magic Online - Bertro
1- Martian Manhunter: Powerful, experienced, and easily the most versatile. Fire is a weakness, but he can manage with it, and nobody knows about it other than him.
2- Thor: Verily he shall smite yon other opponents. Except Martian Manhunter.
3- Hulk: Hulk is third-strongest there is.
4- Namor: Namor is just outclassed here, and there's no real water around.
1-Shade: Extremely powerful, experienced and terrifying. Pretty much untouchable as well.
2- Wonder Woman: Too powerful for the others.
3- Captain America: ALL THOSE WHO CHOOSE TO OPPOSE HIS MIGHTY SHIELD MUST YIELD! Except Shade and Wondy.
4- Rogue: Yes, very nice, you can do something that the others can all block or avoid in some way.
1) Thor: The mighty God of Thunder. Can do a lot of damage.
2) The Hulk: So very strong, and actually a capable fighter and strategist in this form. He's got a lot going for him.
3) Martian Manhunter: Powerful though he might be, I think he's going to suffer from the fact that the other three contestants in the match know each other. They'll want to bump him off early just to be safe.
4) Namor: The lack of water is rather unfortunate for him.

1) Wonder Woman: Superstrong, and raised to be a master of fighting and tactics? Yeah, she's got this one in the bag.
2) The Shade: He's a classy chap. Also difficult to hit and quite powerful to boot.
3) Captain America: Can't do much against Shade or Wonder Woman, but he's smart enough to take Rogue.
4) Rogue: The first two can beat her with their powers alone, and Cap would have no problem out-fighting her.
1 Hulk: Hulk is the strongest there is.
2 Thor: Hammer time
3 Martian Manhunter: The above two are too much
4 Namor: Outclassed by the above three
1 Wonder Woman: Experience and a powerhouse
2 Rogue: Hard choice on this one, but I don't see the bottom two taking her

2. Thor: If necessary, can beat down the Hulk. Otherwise will go toe to toe with MM and probably get a very very close second.
3. Hulk: Hulk may be strongest there is, but Hulk tired of fighting. HULK JUST WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE!
4. Namor: Goes out in a short blaze of glory. "IMPERIUS--" *punch'd*

2. Wonder Woman: Lassoes Captain America for super patriotic happy fun time.
3. Cap: Tactics aren't going to get him through, but he will put on a damn good showing.
4. Rogue: Not powerful enough to take on everyone here.

4 Rogue Can't really hack it this match. Plus, She was a bitch to Emma, which is good, but a bitch to the rest of the team as well, which is bad.
1. Martian Manhunter: Versitility and power. Just has too many tricks he can pull.
2. Thor: VERY close second.
3. Hulk: Strong, but mostly a one trick pony. He can hit hard...so can MM and Thor.
4. Namor: Just outclassed

1. Wonderwoman: Again, power AND versitiliy. Easily the fastest one here by orders of magnitude.
2. Shade: Experience. Smart enough to deal with Rogue and Cap.
3. Captain America: Despite his human limits, his skill and experience keep him from going down fast. Again, smart enough to deal with Rogue.
4. Rogue: Fair ammount of raw power, but not much else. Yes, she could drian her foes...but none of these guys is stupid enough to give her a chance.
1 - Hulk: Compared as a force of nature, nothing in this bracket should be able to beat him.
2 - Martian Manhunter: Just got that feeling that he can take the silver with all the abilities he has.
3 - Thor: Thor's solid, but I just think he's got less of a chance here.
4 - Namor: Out of the pool now, little guppy.

1 - Shade: His abilities completely mess with everyone else in this bracket, not to mention he can just avoid conflict for as long as he'd like.
2 - Wonder Woman: Super strength will be the advantage between her and the Captain.
3 - Captain America: Sorry boss... at least you'll be able to take out Rogue.
4 - Rogue: It feels odd giving her last place here, but I just don't think she compares to anybody else here.

3.Rogue:I think its more likely rogue gets taken out by cap or shade, or one hit from ww, than its likely she absorbs her powers.
4.Captain america: he could take out rogue, but eh i'm giving third place to her cause she can fly.
1. Hulk - PUNY LIGHTNING MAN TICKLE HULK WITH SILLY HAMMER! HULK SMASH WHINY FISH MAN! NAKED GREEN MAN HULK FRIEND! BEST FRIEND SINCE RICK JONES!
2. Thor - He's a god, guys. J'Onn's awesome, but he's no god. Granted, Hulk's not a god, but Hulk is strongest there is.
3. Martian Manhunter - He's good. He might be able to hold his own against Thor or Hulk, but could he win? I say no.
4. Namor - Imperius Rex and all that, but this round is full of people who can very easily make Namor shut his bitch mouth.

1. Captain America - Rogue and Shade are no contest against him. And Diana's really strong, but Cap is the most tenacious guy ever, and he'll keep coming at her until he can't move. He's not stupid, either. He's going to be able to use the terrain and the environment to his advantage.
2. Wonder Woman - Even without her superrad sword, there's not much stopping her.
3. Rogue - With her current powers, she's not a huge factor here.
4. Shade - May as well sit home and drink some absinthe. Fancy darkness worked well for him in his first match, but it's not so impressive at this point.

3rd: Thor: If the Hammer had some more magic related to smashing shit and not indestructability, Thor'd be higher.
LAME MAN: Namor: FISH OUTTA WATER FISH OUTTA WATER
1st: Shade: LIVING DARKNESS EATS EVERYONE. NO ARGUMENTS.
2nd: Wonder Woman: The toughest one here physically. Will last long enough against the darkness to be 2nd.
3rd: Captain America: He's as strong as a normal human can get.
LAME MAN: Rouge: She'll try her power steal thing on the darkness and her head will explode.
1) Hulk - He might legitimately be able to take Thor, but Thor won't even try when Hulk tells him what the Marvel heroes did to him. Thor bows out at the end to give Hulk first.
2) Thor- He's a god, and Hulk is his friend.
3) Namor - Normally dead last here, but he's Hulk's friend, and Hulk is Thor's friend. He succumbs to vast injuries immediately after MM is put down.
4) Martian Manhunter - Tough break. A God, and unstoppable force, and Imperius Rex who all happen to be friends.
Fight
1) Shade - A bit too powerful to be slowed down by anyone here.
2) Rogue - Power drain, power drain, fire to the face. Would be first but Shade outclasses her.
3) Wonder Woman - Hell of a fighter, just can't win here.
4) Captain America - He's a tough old bird, but Rogue doesn't care enough to help him, and everyone else just wants to put down the crazy guy with the shield before moving on to the real threats.

KNEEL BEFORE THE GREEN SCAR
1) Namor: He's been fighting for 80 odd years against the very first super-folk like the original Human Torch straight to modern annoyances like Richards. He's also led numerous attacks on the surface world with an army who can't breathe on land. His tactical brilliance has to be near Captain America levels, and his mastery of his powers is surely second to none.
2) Hulk: Oh yeah, Martian Manhunter thinks it's just another fight with a brute that'll end with mind overtaking body just as it has always happened in the DC Universe. Then Hulk bites off Jonn's head, and then eats the rest of him. Sure that doesn't kill him, but there's no escape from Hulk's gamma re-inforced Bowels.
3) Martian Manhunter: At the very least, he takes out Thor who, for the record, is still kind of a dunce despite all his immortality.
4) Thor: He's used to being the strongest person in a fight and, frankly, all the people in this fight are at his level and prone to ingenuity or unpredictable ferocity that he just isn't capable of. Couple that with the fact that his magic hammer is only indestructible and no more empowered than your average feminist with a shotgun.
1) Shade: Immortality grants him extraordinary resilience second to Wonder Woman while his tangible and intangible shadows grant him protection from literally any of the attacks that these people can launch at him. Furthermore, shadow beats will eat them all.
2) Wonder Woman: The shield would bounce off her head and she'd slice Rogue in half before letting her drain her of too much of her abilities.
3) Captain America: He's aces, even against super-humans, but he falters against the invulnerable because there's usually nothing he can do to stop them. That's the case here.
4) Rogue: Too bad she has the flame powers. She goes after Cap and is outdone by his acrobatics or she goes after WW's exposed skin and is destroyed in the process. I doubt she could even find Shade.
1) Thor - God of Thunder, wins due to his range of abilities.
2) Hulk - The longer the fight goes on the stronger he becomes, loses points due to him not being able to fly. Familiar with Thor and Namor, each a possible ally.
3) Martian Manhunter - If Supes and Marvel can team up to dominate their match I see no reason why Thor and Hulk can't do the exact same thing. Thor dominates him in the air and Hulk helps dish out the punishment on land.
4) Namor - No water around, tough luck duder.
Fight
1) Shade - Most versitile and wide range of powers.
2) Wonder Woman - Trained all her life to be a fighter. Basically Superman with ovaries.
3) Captain America - Peak human potential is sadly not enough to keep you in this fight in the late rounds.
4) Rogue - Without her Mrs. Marvel powers she just does not have the power to hang in against fighters as skilled as these.
1. Martian Manhunter - Strong as anyone here. Can fuck up peoples minds. Can turn intangible. Can turn invisible. This guy has the power set to win the entire tournament. Hulk won't be able to do anything to him with the intangible and flying. Thor will struggle against him. Namor can't do much more than the Hulk. He wins this round easily.
2. Thor - Is a god, but unfortunately can't take out MM since he can just go intangible and fuck up his mind. And even should the two throw down hand to hand MM would be able to take him as he's as strong and faster
3. Namor - At least he's in the match. Can fly to hit the other guys while Hulk is left on the ground with nothing to do. Strength enough to at least make his punches felt.
4. Hulk - Not the strongest there is. Not mobile enough to get to the other competitors. Cannot even hit MM and thor and Namor will notice him coming and be able to dodge the jump.
Fight D
1. Shade - Control of darkness and being really fucking hard to hit get him through this round quite easily.
2. Wonder Woman - Super strength, speed and the awesome lasso giver her easy placement above the other two competitors, unfortunately Shade should still be able to handle her/evade her long enough to wear her down and squeak out first.
3. Rogue - Not strong enough to take out the first two but at least she has real powers unlike....
4. Captain America - Love ya guy but you got shit on these people. What are you even doing here? You know you don't stand a chance against them. No actual powers and unfortunately "shield to head" won't work so well against the first two competitors.

1) Rogue (Stealin' powers, kickin' ass)
2) Shade (Preeeety much unbeatable. You know unless he somehow loses his powers. Or has them stolen.)
3) Wonder Woman (Every punch she lands on Rogue will only make her stronger)
4) Captain America (Shield to the---oh god it burns!)
1. Martian Manhunter- No one else in the match can touch him, literally.
2. Thor- Too strong, too versatile.
3. Namor- Can put up a fight and, being able to fly, can reach the top contestants at least long enough to get his ass kicked.
4. Hulk- Stuck on the ground, stuck dealing with people way too versatile for him.

1. Wonder Woman- Lassos Shade (I'm thinking her lasso can contain even nonphysical stuff, right?), punches everyone else.
2. Shade- Amuses himself talking about old times with Cap while WW deals with Rogue.
3. Captain America- Not a priority to remove, so WW deals with him later.
4. Rogue- Flying and throwing fireballs? WW takes her out immediately, one quick punch to knock her out so she can't use the powers she just absorbed.
1. Martian Manhunter- There are a million fuck ways for him to win this. He can turn invisible and intangible while the others fuck each other and he can his arm through all of them, he can mind fuck them with his telepathy, and no one in this match knows or has a way to find out about his fire weakness so godfuckingdammit, J'onn fucking wins.
2. Thor- J'onn might wait to mind fuck the lightning guy last.
3. Namor- And he might let Namor hang around a bit because J'onn is a nice guy.
4. Hulk- Because fuck the Hulk, he does not win this. J'onn can fuck him up so hard.

1.Thor- I'm pretty sure a -god- can do well in this fight. He'll beat the other three so easily it won't be considered murder, just three very late abortions.
2.Hulk- Hitting him only makes him angry. You wouldn't like him when he's angry.
3.Martian Manhunter- Lots of neat tricks and a very strange outfit which will give him the edge over homophobic combatants.
4.Namor- Waiter! Bring me a jug of water ASAP! Oh no too late!

1.Rogue- all she has to do is touch -anyone- else in this fight and her chances of winning skyrocket.
2.Wonder Woman- If she's brave enough to engage in mortal combat wearing -that- outfit you know she's badass.
3.Shade- He controls the darkness! Sadly I don't know exactly what that means other than he can make everything really dark.
4.Captain America- peak human physical blah blah blah, tactics yadda yadda, shield that acts like a frickin boomerang... fuck that.
1. Thor - Hulk is strongest there is, but Mjolnir is most deadly there is.
2. Hulk - Strongest there is.
3. Martian Manhunter - Just not as good a fighter as Thor, not good enough to hurt Hulk.
4. Namor - Feeling a little parched in this one.

1. Captain America - More experienced than WW.
2. Wonder Woman - Fights Cap one-on-one, loses.
3. Rogue - Attempts to steal WW's powers, fails.
4. Shade - Cap's first target.

3. Captain America- Awesome, just beaten by stupidly high powers.

1. Thor: Pretty sure he can hammer these guys into oblivion
2. Hulk: Hulk Smash, blah blah blah
3. Martian Manhunter: While he's got a bunch of nifty tricks and he's tactically superior to most people here, I still think he goes down.
4. Namor: He's freaking strong, but I don't think he can hang here without water. If he had his H20, I think this might have ended a little different.

1. Shade: I think he'd shadow everyone into oblivion
2. Rouge: I think she'd be able to grab onto Wondy long enough to destroy the others, but I'm probably the only one who thinks so.
3. Wonder Woman: Should be able to last longer than Cap
4. Captain America: I don't see Cap being able to beat these people.
1. Thor - He's a flying, lightning-spewing God with an enchanted hammer of assbeating. The only one who could compete with him is the MM (see below)
2. Hulk - He outclasses Namor in pretty much every aspect (strength, speed, durability, etc), but lack of flight or a reliable ranged attack keeps him from passing Thor.
3. Namor - He's good, but nothing special. Lack of water on the battlefield is a death sentence. He pretty much gets a free bump to 3rd though. It's nice to have powerful friends.
4. Martian Manhunter - Is he more powerful than every other fighter in ths match? Yes. Is he more powerful than all three of them at once? No. "Avengers Assemble" and MM makes an early exit.

1. Shade - Matched up against three competitors who are primarily brawlers, I can't see anybody being able to touch this guy.
2. Rogue - I refuse to believe that Wonder Woman would be able to knock her completely out without Rogue being able to get a hand on some exposed skin somewhere. When's the last time a comic book fight ended with a one-shot, anyway? Rogue takes a beating, but eventually gets the powerdrain in and beats WW.
3. Wonder Woman - Overall stronger than Rogue, but as a brawler, way too vulnerable to Rogue's mutant power. She has to get close enough to hit her opponents, and that means Rogue can touch her.
4. Captain America - Just kind of out of his league here. His main strengths are tactics and leadership, but this fight sees him without anyone to lead, and without the raw power to execute any plan he might formulate. His lack of mobility REALLY hurts him in this one too.
1 - Hulk: Since I can't give both Thor and the Hulk first, I'll give it to the hulk in this one.
2 - Thor: Extremely powerful, probably fight the Hulk for days before it was decided. Lightning and heavily flamable environment is what owns J'onn.
3 - Namor: loligags for real.
4 - Martian Manhunter: I'd give him third, but I need to help offset the heavily biased J'onn fanboy vote here.
Fight D
1 - Shade: Whether by avoidance or direct confrontation, I think he'd win this one.
2 - Wonder Woman: Only her strength beats the smarter Captain America.
3 - Captain America: Rogue doesn't have the experience to touch caps face, he'd knock her stupid way before she could get the chance.
4 - Rogue: Outclassed.
1) Martian Manhunter. He's been an active superhero since what? Like the thirties? And before that he was a police officer on his home planet. He knows how to fight, and he's got the muscle for it.
2) Thor. He's tough, wields a deadly weapon, and fights like a berserker.
3) Hulk. Strong as he is, in his current gladiator form his strength is, to the best of my knowledge, more limited. And while he can jump pretty high, everyone else has flight on their side, which can't be underestimated.
4) Namor. Tough as hell, but with this competition he's outclassed. If he'd been paired up with Captain America he might have made it further.

1) Wonder Woman. She's Superman with breasts.
2) Shade. He's basically just tougher than the other competition.
3) Captain America. He's got nobody to lead here, and his shield throws won't do much to WW or Shade, if they're ready for them.
4) Rogue. Shield to the face knocks her out. Never should have advanced past the last round.

1. Martian Manhunter - A billion powers and no fireslingers.
2. Thor - Thunder God. Has many rock ballads attributed to his name. Big fucking hammer. Pew pew. You get the idea.
3. Hulk - If the other two didn't fly, or it was one on one, I'd probably give it to the Hulk.
4. Namor - Without water, he's fairly screwed.

1. Shade - A lot of options, all end in dead capes.
2. Wonder Woman - HERA. Basically a Superman that trades some power for technique.
3. Rogue - Her blasts really only work against...
4. Captain America - I'm still bamboozled on how he made it this far.
1. Martian Manhunter- He's too versatile, too good at what he does, and he's freaking psychic to boot. He can make Hulk think he's hugging a basketfull of kittens... you can be mad if you have a basket full of kittens.
2. Thor- He's a god. Not a particularly strong god... and I don't really understand why god would even need a hammer... but, he has that too.
3. Namor- He's underwater superman... nuff said.
4. Hulk just doesn't have the versatility for this fight. HULK MOST ONE-DIMENSIONAL THERE IS...

1. Wonder Woman- Honestly... there isn't a single fighter here who can take her out. I don't care what the Shade enthusiasts say...
2. Shade- Okay, I care enough about what they say to make him second. He seems pretty dang powerful.
3. Rogue- Ha... if this were Ms. Marvel Rogue, she could have stood a chance... but her skin to skin contact is neither instantanious nor completely debilitating...
4. Captain America- You can't kill an idea... but you can escort one out of the tournament...
