Not sure about the rules about promoting your own shit, so this might get locked.
I loved Madballs back in the day. That said, I wanted to see more of those classics, and less of the new ones. Where was Slobulous, Screamin' Meemie et al? I only recognized two of those in the trailer: Oculus Orbus and Horn head. Game looks like it could be cool. Have to wait for it to be released, but I like the idea.
Any company who decides to make a game using Madballs deserves some kind of award.
Oh, ooooh Babo Violence! That game is retardedly addictive. So usually shilling isn't allowed in the least but I have a soft spot for the 80s and ball on ball violence.

A fellow BV2er? I haven't played in a few months now myself, but I was active in pubs and clans for about two years. If it had actually cost anything, the fun to dollars ratio would have been insane.
Man that game looks like bullshit, those balls are all rolling around wherever you want them to... If they wanted to make this game more accurate every couple seconds your character would bounce and then randomly change direction.

It was about the only thing tech support did for a full semester at my college.
Bumpin' dis here 9 month old thread to say that I just got a guest pass for this game, and it is pretty damned fun! I unlocked most of the stuff, but I suck at using a lot of it - like the lobber. Give me a shotty or beamer, and magic happens :winky:
I've been playing in on XBLA every now and then. The co-op campaign was alot of fun, and multiplayer is great.
The game did not sell well at first on XBLA but seems to be one of those titles that has maintained a "slow burn" ... there's alot of quality in the game, it's worth checking out at least the demo.
How easy is it to find other players? This is the weirdest license ever but I'll give the demo a shot.
I haven't had any problem finding games so far - there seems to be quite a few people hosting currently. I'm a euro though, so it might be different in the US. I know they're going to implement dedicated servers sometime in the future (read it on the steam forums).
They're also planning to add new weapons, maps etc. as DLC as the game matures.
While the demo gives an impression as to what the game is like, I don't think the singleplayer can compare to the multiplayer at all - that's where the fun is, to me at least

I just bought it (my guestpass had almost expired ). Game is dangerously addictive!
I really think the flyers are crazy fun to play, and they would be even better if I wasn't terrible with the rocket launcher.
