Go to http://www.google.com/preferences?hl=un

Under interface language, click the drop down menu and change the language to Pirate.

Voila! Google in pirate!

(Elmer Fudd, bork bork bork!, and Klingon are also available)

    I thought this might have been the old google index from ten or so years ago. That shit was seriously eerie in a way...googling "Osama Bin Laden" or "Barack Obama" and seeing hardly anything come up.

    Hey, on another note...this is how I got gmail to work on my ipod touch. I was having issues connecting to Gmail (it would just reload the page over and over again), but after going online, I found out the bug was fixed by merely changing google's language settings to something like Pirate, etc.

    Basically, the internet circa 2001. A time before September 11, etc. It's as if someone took the internet in 2001 and put it in some sort of stasis.

    Edit: Hm, seems they might have taken it down. It was honestly pretty cool.

    It really was quite significant. It was fun to google things that hadn't quite happened yet, and looking for some foreshadowing. I spent a lot of time looking up "Osama" on the 2001 internet.

    you know whats REALLY cool, is you can also change your facebook language to pirate. yaarrrg!

    i suppose simple instructions would help:
    scroll to the bottom of the home page (after signing in) and click where it says english (us) (or whatever it says down there for you) you can change to english (pirate)
