What's your favorite video game?

I saw it on Xbox Originals, and came close to buying it, until I remembered that I'd generally disliked the GTA games because of their terrible protagonists.
I bought it
Niko Beilic is great, actually
I was just joking man, I have Both the Klonoa's (are there any more?)
they're great fun
You missed out, brah. Loved Vice City. San Andreas had trouble keeping my attention, but Vice City was wonderful.
Yeah, GTA4 was the first game where I didn't feel like the protagonist deserved to die on general principles. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it.
but i may bust out my king's quest box set and hit a bit of the old 5 and 6
in the first one you could chill in a hot tub with bigfoot
Hearing the sounds from the game (the creaking of the opening ship interior, the sound of Silt Striders, etc) just sends me to nostalgia heaven.
I also didnt overplay it, so the magic is fresh for me.
It is just
brown brown brown mustard brown brown black greeny-brown
It is the most boring world
Daggerfall was better than both
it also didnt help that it is IMPOSSIBLE to make a good looking character
squeeeeeeee!!!
Arena
Its more the world of Morrowind felt so far away, it felt like such an escape from reality, perched on the edge of an empire, always hinting at something bigger, like a good book, the way the rest of tamriel was referenced made you feel like part of such a large world. Oblivion kind of ruined that a bit by revealing that the largest city in Tamriel looks and feels like a glorified stone-statue. Though dont get me wrong I loved Oblivion, its just Morrowind felt more believable. It felt like a shitty outpost in the middle of back-water province, this gritty unearthing of its hidden stories and history was much more satisfying than the Oblivion's fairly generic depiction of a 'stormwind' kind of capitol.
And yes it was a lot of brown, but there was some interesting environments and characters for its time. If you look at all the cities and societies at work there it was a bit more textured than the wastelandy appearance would lead people to believe. This is just my experience with it though.
I was a naturalist adventurer.
It should be pretty incredible now that they're going to use the same engine as CoH. If any game could benefit from destructible environments, Dawn of War is it.
Oblivion was a lot less boring if you rode everywhere instead of just fast traveling.
The freedom feels... suffocating, if that makes sense
Thanks, Jerry.
Yes
I'm not sure I'll ever forget seeing The Wizard in the theater and getting that first glimpse at SMB 3.
It was a religious experience.
bask in its glory
It's about goddamn time. Finally we got this out of the way.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
especially considering you have to play through it twice in a row to really see everything
these include
king's quest 6
chronotrigger
ocarina of time
aaaand those are the only ones i can think of at the moment
I cant even count the amount of hours my friends and I wasted on that game. You could beat the other team into a pulp to win the game. And swear at people. Also Androids vs Demons. Swearing at each other.
More people should play this game.
Plus Cyrodiil was supposed to be a big jungle-type area with awesome shit instead of Lord Of The Rings Land
