Let me introduce you to my ex-gf. Nice girl, suffers from the same problem. She's has two 70 priests, a 38 priest and a shit ton of other priests in the teens. You two will hit it off great.
Please do introduce us! I've always felt the key ingredient to any relationship is having the same deep psychological flaws.
I have to warn you, she is Canadian. So she spells poorly and has a fondness for hockey.
I did the tier .5 questline completely, twice. Once for my shaman, and once for my warrior.
The helm of heroism was one of the few helms I could wear on a troll without disabling helm graphics.

Hint for levellin to 80.
Turn off your xp bar.
You will have a rough idea of how close you are to 80, but no real idea, and each ding comes as a surprise, and it makes the feeling much better rather than "oh god finally!".
When I dinged 80 I was doing the Argent Vanguard quests in Icecrown, and I was running along a road and accidentally aggro'd a 78 treant mob, figured I'd kill it instead of outrunning it. Ding 80 from that kill.

The only thing not having an xp bar displayed is bad for is when you need to know how far you are from a level whether its worth staying up to push for the level or going to bed.
Lets be honest though we'd all push for the level.
The .05 armor chain
I did it first on my night elf rogue because most of the gear was an upgrade
The people I did it with had a mix of the basic dungeon, mc,ZG and Bwl gear. We beat the main group of the guild who had far better gear Tier1+
I started to do the chain on my warlock to see if I could. It took weeks of trys to shave off time for the 45 minute baron run solo. I was running about 47 48 minutes every time
I am now stuck on the part where you turn in the dreadmist pants because the baron still refuses to hand them over after months
Personally, I think my Catch 1000 Fish Achievement on my Death Knight is the one I'm most ashamad of.
I hit 1000 fish before I hit 300 fishing on my Death Knight, and that was with not looting a bunch of fish. My warrior is at 376 fishing, and I don't think I have caught 25 fish yet since patch 3.0.
The first 100 or so points of fishing is great for leveling cooking as well, but then your cooking starts to outstrip your fishing and soon you are fishing in Ironforge hoping to catch Ironjaw.

I managed to get [That Takes Class] in as many honor kills. I wasn't even trying, it just happened like clockwork.
I don't have any embarrassing achievements. Until Northrend popped, I didn't give a shit about them. Now, I'm just making sure to tap each zone's Loremaster and Explorer subachievement, and any other regional ones that aren't too hard.
I've been annoyed with how aggressively some people want to pursue the Heroic ones. It's hard to get a group to start with, and then it's been a common occurrence that one person talks the rest of us into trying to get the achievement on a given boss ... and we wipe a few times before we all say, "Okay, fuck it, let's just keep going."

Probably the easiest source of Proto-drake mounts is the problem.

Some of them are cool. We got the two from utgarde pinnacle..the one to shoot the drake from 100-0 in one pass, by saving up six harpoons and only then firing them, and the one for the final boss to never use Bane just by blowing a Bloodlust and burning him before he cast the spell each 25% (the timer for Bane resets everytime he runs to one of the boats).
Is that like, ashamed of and mad at yourself combined?
I think buying Haris Pilton's bag will be my personal high/low.
Why is that a low? All of my bags are those and I love the extra bag space.
Well you're right, it's not a complete waste of cash, although I'll be surprised if there isn't some form of improved Frostweave bag that comes in to make it obsolete.
It's a low because I'm not really struggling for space, and even if it does become obsolete I'll still spend the 1200g just to get 10 more points.
oh my god the Pinnacle gauntlet on Heroic is nutso-cuckoo
I don't know what we were doing wrong, but our healer kept going oom. We were clearing the entire gauntlet in four pulls, and pulling the guy, but she would still go oom pretty much as soon as we started DPSing Skadi.
Also, that Whirlwind can be absolutely punishing if you get clipped by it. Hits my Rogue for 14k or so, which is about 90% of my health, so will usually one-shot me if I didn't preemptively get out of the way or pop Evasion.
Go to Zul'Drak and have a gaze at Thryme The Hope Ender.
Tauren's don't even come up to the top of the soles of his shoes.
The quest there was so fucking amazing-and-epic. How's that work, though? Does it phase you into what's like your own little 'instance?' I didn't see any other players while doing it, and I never see any other players doing it, so I assume it's gotta be phased somehow ...

I wouldn't try any but the easiest with a PuG, and even then only if they had shown themselves competent earlier in the instance. If I doubted their competence and I thought it likely I wipe, I would voice said opinions and refuse to take part in the doomed operation.
However, I will be cherry picking the best from my guild and friend's list for my future heroic runs, because you KNOW I want those achievements like a crackhead wants crack. Achievements of skill with an obvious and cool reward = yes please.

Its phased. I saw quite a lot of people while I was doing it, but only because I was part of the first wave on the server to hit 80 so I was doing it at about the same time as most of the people in the level range.

The harder the rain, honey, the sweeter the sun.
And Realm Firsts
I wonder if those realm firsts will update with name changes. Found a couple that don't work, not sure if that's why.

So don't bother with Wintergrasp until then.
