Well, the idea is that the defense would man them to keep you from destroying their gobbo workshops.
This is one of those silly blizzard ideas that fails to work when applied to actuality.
A good defensive strategy is to destroy the back two gobbo workshops then surprise assault the ones in contention. Suddenly, the offense can't build any siege vehicles at all!

An Eternal Belt Buckle cannot be applied over the trade window, correct? Cursed level 70 req but only 60 req for the ilevel.
I don't understand what you're asking here. It can be traded like all the other BoE items.
As in can someone level 70+ use the belt buckle to socket my level 60+ item on my below 70 character through the 'do not trade' slot of the trade screen.
So I found the greatest thing ever in Grizzly hills today.
(snip)
Spoilered for Hueg H-scroll rape.
Quite possibly the only redeeming thing about that piece of shit zone.
I don't mind grizzly hills that much... but it does seem lacking compared to other zones.
The Arugal line could've been worked out so much better. As it is, only the first werewolf quest, the vision, and the final quest are fun. It is such a powerful idea, but was executed poorly.
Same goes for the world tree line. I didn't feel involved at all.
The troll line was great, especially the final bits in Drak'theron and then the whole line in Zul'Drak. Unfortunately, I did my zones by minimum zone level, meaning I did Zul'Drak before Grizzly Hills, and it made a lot less sense.
The PvP quests are actually interesting... if only they had placed them much closer to Dalaran.

Happy: The Drakuru questline in Zul'Drak was great. Though I haven't finished the Grizzly Hills part yet.
Took me a few tries to get that final battle down.
Just keep in mind that you're doing them in reverse order.
I know, I read up on the whole thing after I did the last part. Probably have to wait to do the dungeon quest on heroic. (You can do normal dungeon quests on Heroic, right?)
(And sorry for deleteing the post, was ment for Happy/Hate/Hope thread)

Yes you can do them on heroic unless otherwise specified (IE Magister's Terrace heroic unlocking)
Personally I like to run everything on normal first so I have an idea how the place works.

I'd like that too, just finding time to get a group together for a dungeon is hard. I tend to go AFK for various reasons during my playtime.
I still have quests for the Dragonblight dungeons too.
Now what? This is the first character in any MMO that I've played to max level. As soon as I hit 80 I got summoned to a raid with my guildies and rolled a 100 on a piece of shammy gear and that was exciting. Also got a few badges of valor. And I need money for my epic flying mount...

I'd have to say this quest line would have worked better if the villagers in the first village didn't do the whole Worgen transformation when near low health. As it was i wasn't aware that it was meant to be a big shock that these guys were werewolves, because the town was full of them standing around happily chatting with me.
The troll line was great, especially the final bits in Drak'theron and then the whole line in Zul'Drak. Unfortunately, I did my zones by minimum zone level, meaning I did Zul'Drak before Grizzly Hills, and it made a lot less sense.
I'm in two minds about that quest line, on the one hand the quests where you have to collect troll mojo were absolutely fucking awful. But then when you get to the end of it
I really liked that the fact that the Troll guy isn't all "mwhuahahaha! I have tricked you!" He seemed genuinely grateful for your help accomplishing everything and he was just so damn happy when i showed up in Zul'drak, i felt a bit bad about betraying him in the end, he seemed so hurt.
Some may remember me saying i'd quit that place and go to Dragonblight today...well i couldn't bring myself to, so i stuck around to finish the questing achievement. Thankfully, my compulsive self-harming paid off with Ghalerbron, not only does that place have good, easy and quick quests, it also culminated in a decent quest where i got to kill a frost wyrm 8-)#
So tomorrow, i'll finish those quests and also hit 75!
Am i the only person who can't finish a zone till the questing achievement is finished?
No; I'm about 3/4 to 77 now, and am now completely finished with Borean->Fjord->Dragonblight... and that's it.
I'm actually somewhat worried that I'm going to hit 80 with like 3 zones untouched, and never wind up finishing the quests... which is what happened in Outlands, I did pretty much every quest up until Netherstorm/SMV, and then still have never gone back to finish some of the later group quests
Thats what happened to me. Had SB, SP, and Icecrown all untouched. I'm damn well gonna do every quest so I can get money, greens/blues to DE and get rep up.
Also, I want the Time lost proto drake NOW. Been flying around storm peaks for hours. I know the bloody zone off by heart now. When I start questing there, I'll know exactly where everything is. I haven't even seen the bloody corpse of the dragon! I only saw one other person with the mount on my server.
I'm just going to leave those zones for my alt, so questing is interesting both times.
Hey I asked a few pages back, but no one seemed to be able to help.
Could a European player send me a resurrection scroll, if you can help pm me and I'll tell you my email. thanks
edit: Just got one, thanks to Echo.
Now can anyone recommend at good sever to play on
I think terrokar and azuremyst, the two newest realms (IIRC, they're pretty new anyway) would both be good choices, i have an alliance warrior on terrokar and the people are helpful, economy isn't too fucked and you'll never be without people to group with if you need it.

I'm so overwhelmed now.
Money is easy, just do your daily quests every day. Check the factions at Wowhead, and click on the quests tab. Scroll down and make a note of all the ones marked daily, and do all of those. Not only will you rake in the monies, you'll be filling your faction rep as well.

You didn't find:
Being chased on horseback while flinging flaming torches at werewolves
That quest was awesome, although it would have been better if the horse ran a little faster. You know, at "Oh shit we have to get out of here NOW" speed instead of "la la, oh are we running away from werewolves? la la la" speed.

Going for quest achievements are going to be hard. So far, I've done 105 in Borean and that is almost a tenth of the overall number of quests I've done on my main. I also feel like I'm running out of places

The only Northrend quest achievement I have left is Icecrown (99/140). What's even sadder is that I only have 400g banked and still no epic flyer, so I have no idea where I intend to come up with the gold.

How the hell do you have so little gold?
I went from 100g -> 5k and I've still got like 4-5 zones only half done.

Ask Oboro how many Darkmoon Card Oboro has purchased while leveling from 70 to 80.
Some people would rather be broke and spend all their money.

I've found the quest achievements are pretty straightforward, usually it's about 3 or 4 less than the total number of quests in the zone (not counting daily quests). And it's usually pretty hard to miss most of the quests in Northrend (I've found they are pretty good about sticking drop quests / escorts right next to something you have to pick up for another quest, so you basically can't miss them)

I hear maxing out engineering is a good challenge.
Progression gearing, including my Nobles Deck (4100g)
someone offered 9000g for the Nobles Deck and I considered selling it, but I value my actual gearing process more than the epic flyer, and I lack the gathering skills to capitalize on an epic flyer
EDIT: Also Darkmoon cards, yes, and as soon as I finish a deck I sell it at break-even or slight profit if possible and start collecting it again; my personal goal is to one day be able to complete all decks between one Faire and the next

Your epic flyer will be the last major purchase you will ever need. The Mammoth mount for 20k gold is candy, but certainly not a must-have. Once you get an epic flyer, you will find it becomes much easier to make money. You have to be rich to get an epic flyer, and so having one will make you richer - go figure. Selling that deck for 9k is a good idea, with an epic flyer at your control - and a gathering profession (hopefully?) - you will quickly make back what you lost in selling the deck.
That's my opinion anyway. You can't capitalize on the deck to make more money to buy an epic flyer. But you sure as hell can capitalize on an epic flyer to make more money to buy another deck.
