pro tip: you probably should. it feels pretty great to lose weight. i used to be 6' 160 and blew up to about 210 in a year. i dropped down to about 185 and feel so much better. i was at two extremes and finally found a good middle ground. im pretty broad shouldered so 160 was almost deathly thin for me.

Flippy I'm still sorry I'm not going to be around to show you around NYC and New Jersey. The blueberries in mid-south Jersey are absolutely amazing, too, so make sure to get some from there. Really though, New Jersey is legendary for its pollution, density ,and god dammit blueberries. don't forget to try some!
also it's hard for me to judge height when its within a few inches of me. everything between 5'6 and 6'4" is either 'shorter' or 'taller'
We took him to Kerby Lane to eat and then headed to Zilker Botanical Garden, followed up with a trip to Amy's Ice Cream. Flippy is headed downtown right now to check out some of the music /clubs.

Damn, I tweeted before I saw this. I'd trade Fort Worth for Abilene anyday FWIW, and funnier still, I actually drove back up to DFW from Houston today, apparently passing as close to Flippy as I'll get to by the end of this thing.
Also I am pretty tempted to just go direct to Albuquerque from Abilene, as Lubbock and Fort Sumner are giving me exactly the same problems as Fort Worth did. I'm not prepared to pay $Texas (lulz) for a hotel for one night that's nowhere near anywhere I want to be, especially when arriving at a completely shitty time.
And then I'd have to take nonexistent public transport.
So I've sent a message to my contact in Albuquerque.
