Yo guys, I just made myself a guy a couple of days ago, and now he's gone. Now that I see that quite alot of people actually play this, I might get more interested if I could join the clan. How long will it be before this our characters are gone again?
To be honest, for a free Shin Megami Tensei game, this is pretty awesome. I'm getting a sort of old-school vibe of it, sort of cyberpunkish ala. Shin Megami Tensei on the SNES. Which is kickass. I'd definatily recommend it to anyone interested!

alternately, find the right file in the folder for the game, you can set a custom windowed resolution

You're going to want to pounce on every single Grey Plate and/or Service Entrance quest opportunity you can find. Otherwise you're in for one heck of a grindfest.
I'll try to let everyone know when mine come up, and everyone else should do the same. 100k and 50k XP is nothing to miss out on.

It worked for me just going into the Settings in the IMAGINE Updater.
I've gotten to level 9 now, Act 3. I'm supposed to fuse two demons to make Erthys, does anyone know where those are? I think it was some sort of Earth Kuodo (?) and some Lost Pou? Does anyone know what to do?

I think Snake-Man said something about the tunnels, or am I just mixing it up? Someone I talked to in-game said I had to grind the tunnels to find the proper Kodama or something.
That's a different quest. You need soul shards from those guys, but fusing those two demons I mentioned earlier will get you the Erthys you need for ANOTHER quest. I forget which one comes first though.

I recommend leveling the Kodama up enough for it to learn Dia (doesn't take long, like level 3 or 4). The Ethys should get it as an inheritance skill, which means that after it gets healed enough, it'll learn it. Healing spells make everything better.

You find the family types of the two demons you want to fuse, and see where they meet up on the chart, and that's should be the family type of the resultant demon. I guess the type of demon within that family is decided by the levels of the fusing demons? Not sure.
I'm not as sure about the elemental part on the side, though; I think that's just whether it will combine with that demon, and if so, whether it would cause the fused demon to be higher or lower on the family tree (if so, then for example, a pixie would become a jack frost if combined with a water or earth elemental, and a jack frost would become a pixie if combined with a first or air elemental).
The coloring is alignment; green is neutral, blue is law, red is chaos.

Also, don't you have to unlock Gun Knowledge first to learn it? I have no idea how to do that.

The reason to lower an expertise would be so that you could use the points in another. They are finite.
Gun knowledge should be unlocked at the beginning since you start with shot and burst.
Anyone know if there's a way to limit what your expertise levels grow to? It'd be kind of annoying to have 1,001 points in an expertise and be screwed out of a class level in another one because you only had 999 left over.
I wonder if it is worth farming COMP hack chips. Does everyone in the group get a free random demon when the dungeon is completed?

Yep, but some people in the group can get the same demon. I finally completed it for the first time yesterday. Two of us got Mou Ryou. I wanted a Unicorn.
But I was able to fuse Macha from Mou Ryou, so it all worked out.
If you get a chance do the COMP dungeon in the home III camp area. You just fight a single oni (like 6 times) and he's weak to nonelemental magic type skills. Pretty easy to just guard/counter to death too.

Why would you want to lower an expertise?

Be prepared to hurt if you go after it.
But I was able to fuse Macha from Mou Ryou, so it all worked out.
Edit: At level 10 I didnt know what they were so I tried the Oni... got to about the 4th time before I had to call it quits.
