I mean, I know a lot of people appreciate his music ironically, but I honestly can not think of an artist who can put a smile on my face and get me feeling happy better or more consistently than Wesley Willis.
I saw him in Philadelphia once. He performed a special song that he had written just for that show, called "Lick A Bulldog's Nasty Asshole." He played exclusively from his latest album, and the only "rerun song" he would permit was "I Whupped Batman's Ass."
Wesley Willis was on Howard Stern once. He had about 15 minutes of air time, and guests usually have to put up with Stern's boring bullshit like "Do you do anal?" and all that retarded crap because they're too polite to tell him to cut it out and also because he'll boot them from the show (I heard him boot David Spade because Spade felt that talking about anal wasn't wise when he had just gotten a network TV show). In Willis' case, however, this didn't happen. Wesley just owned that show for 15 minutes, told Howard what he felt like doing and then did it, answered or didn't answer questions as he saw fit, just basically went in there and made it his show for 15 minutes.
EDIT: He also sold Stern a drawing without agreeing on a price, then said it was $1000 or something after Stern agreed to buy it. Pretty sure the sale didn't go through, but he made Stern squirm.

This guy's music is genuinely artistic and interesting
It's certainly bizarre and seemingly nonsensical
But it also has a particular structure, point of view and sensibility

More people need to know of this man.
GoFund The Portland Trans Pride March, or Show It To People, or Else!
hah
He was also the lawyer on Arrested Development.
I know him personally.
I shall duck behind the couch.
And they pretty much all followed the same structure.
He also really, really fucking hated Batman apparently.
amazing
Yes that guy.
I know him.
We have talked about music composition. He is awesome.
He had a lot to sing about.

Michael Jackson
This is correct. He also wrote a song titled "Jello Biafra."
Felt sorry for him though. Songwriting was pretty much his only solace; he said it kept the demons out of his mind or something like that.
you must not have seen any of his artwork
