Alright. I went to a party, and lost a bottle opener.
No big deal right? WRONG. This is no ordinary bottle opener. Number one, it has a pirate on it, and number two, it apparently holds some sentimental value to my mother.
I had no fucking idea. I thought it was just a pirate bottle opener.
Who knows?
Point is. I need a new one! I can't find a new one! It looks like:
It's a piece of wood, with a pirate on top...with 2 screws used for prying a lid off.
Are these type of openers called something special? Where can I obtain one? Am I screwed?

Could you perhaps find a pirate and drill some screws in it? I guess I can understand some sentimental value but it seems hard to put value on something that opens bottles using screws. That's too crude for value considering how easily one could be fabricated.
I thought maybe that type of opener had a special name.
I'm desperate :P
I hate to say it but this doesn't sound like something that was purchased in a store. I've seen lots of bottle openers, but never any with screws. Of course when I see the word screws I'm thinking about screws from home depot or something. This sounds like a pirate object that somehow ended up with screws in it that were perfect for opening bottles.
I hate leaving these threads unsolved, so I came back. Good news. Found it. Called up someone at the party and they had a look for me. It was in the drawer

Has a little model pirate on a piece of wood. I might have to go trawling markets.
I'm doing this tomorrow (it's midnight here)
I don't like my chances though
I'll let you know how it goes.
