Ascendo Tuum. That guild name sounds awfully familiar. Maybe we have it on my server as well. Or a server I used to be on, or it used to be on my server and isn't anymore. Anyway.. it looks familiar.
Vein in forehead... twitching...
I *really* shouldn't read this thread. I don't even play WoW, but I'm tempted to download a trial, find whoever named that guild, and slap them silly with a hardbound copy of Lewis and Short. Just because you can use a piece of software to translate words one by one doesn't mean you can mash any combination of the results together and expect it to be intelligible! arrghlbarghlarghlraaaaaarrrrr...
There is definitely an Ichigo, Bankai, Vizard, and Uruhara in that guild. People need to gain some level of originality, seeing this I'm guessing there's a Dragon Ball Z Guild called "SuperSaiyans" or something right? With Goku as their leader?
Why does nearly every goddamn death knight I see feel the need to add "dk" somewhere in the name? Do people perhaps mistake them for a priest?
To be fair some of them do gem/gear for SP. It's easy to mistake....
Thinking about it, those might be the same people who used SP Mail on their Hunters. And SP Plate on the Ret paladins.
Well, back during Vanilla WoW I remember that there was a hunter set that had spell power on it. Maybe some of these people are trying to remember the bad old days of WoW. Striker's Set I think it was called? From AQ 20 or 40, I don't remember which one it was.
And the plate in BC that doesn't have SP or Int, has Agi on it. Last night in Ony 10 there was a DK weilding Marrowstrike (not in and of itself bad) who also had 3 +16 agi gems.
On the topic of names, there is, or at least was, a paladin on my server named simply: Me
It COULD be their tanking weapon, and they forgot to unequip it....Unholy DK tanks like to pump agi for the increased dodge.

Or it was a notable upgrade from the Blue quest reward axe from Borean Tundra. And they like crits.

Or they are stupid :P
AQ40, and no hunter with any sense bothered with it :P
Explode on contact was bad. That made my tanking job so much harder during Vanilla. No one did AoE back then, and hunters with that trinket on just loved to get those guys around me to run back to them. Those were the golden days.
Spell Power was the only way to increase the damage of Arcane Shot and Serpent Sting. So it actually had some uses.
I had a full on Spell Power set of gear for certain fights where the enemies were Arcane or Nature weak.
also there was that trinket that made arcane shot explode on contact
It wasn't even a passive thing. It was a Use trinket with a 3 min CD if I recall. I remember we just rolled to take that thing when it dropped, nobody wanted it.

I think most of our hunters took it to screw around in AV with it. I refused to waste 1dkp on it.

Well, yeah. I mean, an up's an up. My pally used Black Ice for the longest time until ToC came out and I got Edge of Ruin. But edge of ruin isn't hard to get. This dude had enough 80 gear that he'd probably had a couple weeks to it. He still pulled fairly decent dps. A little over 4k. And those agi gem's weren't in tank gear.
And my rogue may disappear at times but she will always return
Long ago when I was on my night elf priest someone was upset they could not have that name and some of the other phoenix lords and choose Slaanesh instead

Oh Christ, one of the Guilds is "Espada".

Oh god what an awful trinket.

At least he knows what his future holds
That's actually how I read it when he first joined the group too.
Then I 'got' it.
Didn't make it any more or less funny though.

i laughed so hard i cried when i first grouped with him. great sense of humor too, obviously.
i've seen too many bad names to count. i forget them as quickly as possible.
Arlenthor - Paladin (6 Primary Alt)
Binwin - Hunter (19 Twink)
Arleah - Bank Alt (1)
Server: Draenor, Guild: Clawshrimp & Co. Rank: Lobster
That was probably meant to be Fury. At least that's what I'm telling myself.
Friend of mine had "Boneyfife" for a while, Undead warrior
That settles that, then.
