Got my Sentinel Gloves today. Woo. I really want the whole set. The Annihilator WH set is kinda...bleh, but Sentinel is so nice. And stylish. And just so damn awesome.
Just now in tor anroc a swordmaster did this and sent everybody around him flying into the air except me who blocked it. He was lined up perfectly too, so my repel sent him straight into the lava.
I really enjoyed standing back and waiting for him to use it then snaring him and repelling him into fiery doom.
You know one reason why warped flesh and the swordmaster bubble are so good though?
If you get hit with a crowd control attack when they're up and absorb it the cc part is nullified.
This alone justifies the tactic as a permanent pvp slot.

Most chosen don't bother with it because you have to line people up properly and be smart with it. I really wouldn't worry too much.

Jesus. I take back everything I said about WH. My WH is murdering not only the destro on Badlands, but their children as well! Im top of the tier right now, lvl 11. But man. This lvl 11 chosen kept meeting up with me, 1v1, in gates of erkund. Killed him four times in a row in less than 10 seconds. The last two times I ran into him, he literally tired to run away at the start of the fight both times.

You have to spend a mastery point by clicking on the abilities and tactics on the trees to actually be able to use them. You don't get them for free by putting points into the tree.

I'm basically looking to see what other items I could get unlocked, because the ones that I've gotten so far are pretty good, like the four ring set that has a 4 piece set bonus of +20 max AP. Of course the last ring requires me killing 100 Bloodbeasts of Khorne, which can only be killed in Bastion Stair for Order. Damn Champions.

I do so many scenerios with my BG where we have no healers at all, that any healer at all is a godsend. A lot of those times a healer really would have won it for us since the scores were close depsite the lack of healing.
While I've been enjoying my WH... I started fiddling around with a Warrior Priest on the side.
I'm not sure if it was the time off or the new update or what, but something just clicked, and I became a holy dervish of death and destruction.
In Ekrund, I quite literally was holding off the entire Destro team at one time, blocking one of those ladder-ramp-things for about a full minute.
In Khaine's, I went south around the the long way so I could come up behind all the squishies defending, and just went through them like a chainsaw through butter.
Sigmar save me, I might end up switching my main.

Right now there's a tiny bug with the clickable button that appears on the map where it's no longer movable or hidable, I just layer the map over it for now. It even has an option to remove all the unlocks you already found from the lists.
The only thing probably worth getting out of this live event would be killing explosive snotlings and hope they drop the purple backpack (cloak item) since it has a nice instant cast dot on it.

Gotten my Zealot to rank 10 and I have to say its rotten slow questing solo, not helped by my EU time zone :P Playing a Witch Elf for a bit went a lot faster but I do prefer being the support class, anyone with a dps alt near my level who fancies fairly regular questing?

Yes. All players have (3, I think) invites for a free trial they can send out to friends. If you then buy the game and activate your account the player who sent you the invite will get a free month.
Scoot, I've gotta warn you. There's no way to make a horribly gimpy concept character short of just not using your abilities, and this crowd and its RvR are a lot less forgiving of that than the CoX players. :P

I completed this event entirely on Harrower. It was easy and only took about a day of grinding. Everything was easy to come by except for the purple backpack. Hopefully future events are as well thought out as this one. The halloween one was kind of meh, this was great.

If you are talking about how to use your invites, its on the Account Management page, theres a Recruit-a-Friend button that lets you send codes out to up to 3 people per month. They don't send you the codes at all, you fill out the thing on there with their e-mail address and it sends the code to them.
So, I cancelled while I was wrapping up the semester and playing other games and am thinking of starting up again, how did their Open RvR changes end up working out? Is it comparable to scenarios for exp? And how possible is it to get the old open RvR influence while chickened?
