So, I've had staph infection twice so far. Both times its been on my stomach, and both times happened in the last two months. My doctor gave me some antibiotics each time and it cleared it up.
Unfortunately, I've noticed another staph infection on my stomach...almost in the exact same place as the first infection.
I'm going to my doctor tomorrow after school so he can check it out, but I'm just really fretting about it. I mean, is this going to be a recurring thing forever? Can you guys recommend any home treatments? And am I going to have to be hospitalized? If so, I would probably go crazy...plus staph leaves gross little scars.
My other problem is sort of tied in with this one...due to my recurring staph infection and another personal problems (having to fly to New York multiple times during the semester), I've missed substantial amounts of class. I go to college, and I managed to fix it with my History teacher and my English teacher, but in my two animation classes I may be screwed. I mean, I just don't know how I'm going to be able to catch up in those classes...and the program that I'm in doesn't allow me to withdraw from a class, no exceptions. Finals are next week, and I'm going crazy with stress...on top of it all, I'm applying to a multitude of universities for fall of next year, and a bad grade could screw me up pretty bad.
Gah...I'm so worried...
Things are so bad, I'm considering asking 2d animators online to do my work for me, and I've never cheated once in my entire life...
EDIT: I submitted my applications for University of California on November 30th, and I just remembered today that I left out a key extracurricular activity (Boys' State). Is there any way at all to update my application?

It's amazing how often this happens.

Yeah, I make sure to take the entire bottle each time.
As for classes, maybe you could arrange a meeting during your teacher's office hours?
Teachers often draw classes out (no pun intended) to make sure everyone understands, even though the material can be understood in much less time. Explain yourself and you should at the very least get somekind of advice from your teacher - what to study, what's important, what's on the test, etc.
I've met with all my professors...
Like I said, my animation classes that I'm having problems with. It seems like I just won't be able to catch up there..I'm way too far behind...the only real option for me there is to take an "I" (incomplete) and finish the assignments during winter in my 3d class and desperately try to complete six assignments for 2d by next wednesday.

Talk to any academic counselors you have, and you may want to investigate if your school has an office for people with disabilities. This is usually for folks who have dyslexia or some other learning disability, but they should be able to help in your case as well.
As for the staph infection, your doctor will know best, but it's possible that the previous courses of antibiotics didn't completely get rid of the bacteria. Currently I've been prescribed two antibiotics to try to get rid of a "chronic" sinus infection that seems to have gone away but keeps coming back.
This past summer, I had a nasty lung infection that wasn't responding (i.e. clearing up) to any antibiotics. After culturing the bacteria ( an antibiotic-resistant strain of pseudomonas), the doctor put me on a double-course of oral Cipro and nebulized Tobramycin which cleared everything up. But since you've described a staph infection, I would assume you've already been given Cipro.
GPs seem to completely suck when you turn up as a healthy young person with a relatively minor but incredibly annoying infection that won't shift. You cannot believe how ridiculous it was for me. Being told you have an STI but some inept doctor who has no idea what they are talking about is really annoying.
