Guitar Hero 2 on ps3

I've been reading conflicting things online about being able to play this game on a ps3. I've got a GH2 and a GH3 controller, what's the easiest way to play GH2 on a ps3?

    Pretty sure there aren't any controllers that will play GH2 on a PS3 completely. A buddy of mine went through quite a bit of trouble trying to find one that would work, to no avail.
