It kills two birds with one stone. It gives people a reason to bring rogues and it reduces the "OMG Must have Shaman!" mindset. And you can do it without slaughtering game balance since heroism is a tested ability. Well you might get some complaints from Arena players but hey, one keeps one's pimp hand strong for a reason.
Make heroism unusable in arena, or change the cooldowns to 15minutes and 1 second (same thing ;P).
Getting heroism out of arena would ultimately be beneficial to elemental and enhancement (and probably resto) anyway, as it would allow the devs more room to make them viable outside of a one-dispellable-trick-pony way.
Buuuuut I was a shaman in TBC and now I'm back to be a rogue, so I'm a little biased Having to drag shamans along for everything is a nuisance in 10 mans, I've had more than one achievement night called on account of a lack of heroism.

The heroism sound sounds like the bell at a boxing match or something. Which makes me think of that one commercial for that Rocky game showing the butcher in the back room when a customer rings the service bell, at which point he drops what he is carrying and begins to pummel the side of beef hanging behind him. I am trying real hard to stay on topic I promise.
The notion of Enhance Shammies using Spellpower weaps is actually quite cool. I love it when abilities work out in such a way that unusual, seemingly counter-intuitive combinations are superior to the obvious abilities.
It's not cool because they're killing Windfury Weapon, an iconic Enhancement ability, for it to work. Granted they're not doing it on purpose, but sometimes it feels like it.
My guess is that dual-FT will be nerfed into the ground. Enhancement rocking x2 FT with a caster weapon was something that happened in beta, and Blizzard went out of its way to turn Enhancement away from it. This is why Lava Burst is no longer affected by Maelstrom Weapon, because the return on spellpower was getting too high.
This latest development brings a question up, though, that Blizzard needs to do a little thinking on. Since spells are so much a part of Enhancement shaman DPS now, maybe it's time to stop jamming a square peg in a round hole and rework the spec.
Alternatively, take away AP->Spellpower conversion and instead make Shamans able to gain spellpower benefit on every weapon, sort of like how Druids now get Feral AP off of every weapon.
Of course it'll be nerfed, but I doubt they can do it in this way. You'd be killing the way Enhance shamans scale from gear by making like half their damage only scale from one item. They'd have to make up for it elsewhere. Removing the Windfury cooldown would be nice. Regardless, it's pretty clear Blizzard just doesn't know what to do with Enhance.
yeah, I've been collecting enh gear as I raid resto, but after spending a week as enh I was just bored. Questing sucks, but raids, pvp, instancing is just more fun as resto.
I'm proud of my guild. We're really progressing nicely.
We've gone from 2-3 weeks ago half-pugging 25 naxx to full clearing in one night with pure guildies. We've gone to no Maly to dropping in 10 man in 1-2 attempts and downing 25 Maly. We've gone from 0 drakes to downing with 2 drakes.
What can I say? Our guild is pretty damn awesome, and we're a casual raiding guild.
I don't know how sensitive people are about spoilers around here, especially considering that this is just speculation, so I'm going to spoiler this:
I wonder how they're going to deal with the Voltron thing ("Mimiron built the Flame Leviathan as part of the V0-L7R-0N weapons platform, and as a result, this tank packs quite a punch") . Do we fight each part separately and get a loot chest when they retreat to wherever the whole thing is? Are we going to have some impossible fight against the whole thing assembled together and then fight them all separately before they join together massively weakened? Is the whole thing a red herring?
I'm in a rather funny pickle at the moment, You see, I'm currently only raiding 10 man Naxx, and the odd 10-man OS with no drakes up, and I'm specced Frost right now because I'm expected to kite on Gluth for us, because I turned out to get it nailed down pretty quick and I really contributed to downing the bastard for our guild by going Frost, and well, Lately, our 10-man Naxx has been having attendance problems for the past few weeks, we had to cancel the last raid because a couple people didn't show, and we can't really roll with 7 or 8 like we could with 9. and the OS runs are earlier in the day, and also has a bit of attendance problems and often has to invite pubbies, which I guess isn't a problem. but, I try going to PuGs when I feel like switching to a spec like Arcane, and well, I end up with a bigger guild attempting to poach me.
My dillemma, is, well, I like my guild, the people that are around and attend are good lads! we have incredibly nice officers, and it's a "no pressure" type situation, and there is RP. I don't wanna abandon my guild, but part of me wants to do something more often, but I'm scared of joining a new guild because I don't wanna end up in a srs bzns guild. I am torn and do not know what to do.
Have you tried recruiting folks to your guild? I too really enjoy my guild and we were having attendance problems for 10-mans. That was about three weeks ago. We put on a hardcore recruiting effort and now we are fixing to start running two 10-man raids because we have so many folks on to raid and are hoping to start 25-mans in a few more weeks.

We're not really 100 percent focused on raiding, so just going out recruiting people is really tricky, because we have an RP-like application process. and most people who really want to focus on raid probably doesn't have the patience for that. (but that would probably bring up why said person plays on an RP realm.)
I'm just hoping I'm paranoid, and the MIA people start showing up more, or the new arrivals to 80 will be willing to fill some of the emptiness once they gear up and stuff.

You'd be surprised by how many people want to raid and enjoy an RP environment. Give it a go, it's not bad advice esp. if you want a shoot at 25
You can't just ask the other guilds about how 'serious' they are?
I also wouldn't be surprised if RP servers were lacking in RPers simply because non-RPers go there in hopes of a less.. Chuck Norris..ish.. environment.

Thrall can divide by zero,
Thrall doesn't do push ups, he pushes Orgrimarr down.
Thrall has two speeds, Walk, and Kill.
Thrall threw out the periodic table because he only recognises the element of suprise.
Thrall counted to infinity.... twice.
It's like someone telling the same joke over and over again. At least the Norris ones are slightly different.
Hey I heard Chuck Norris Round house kicks people to death. I heard Chuck Norris taught ninjas how to round house kick. That Chuck Norris guy, yeah, he round house kicks.
Then there's "Chuck Norris poops candy." and you go, "What the fuck?"

I've been holy so long I've forgotten how to evaluate melee junk. I mean, is that a hunter stick? Titan Grip warrior thing? Just curious.
I think its a hunter weapon, +AGIL +STAM +AP and other good hunter stats. Not 100% on that one though....
(Can't look it up I'm at work :x )

Example off the top of my head: A paladin raid-wide Avenging Wrath that boosted damage and healing by 20% for x seconds.
It'd add some diversity and close the heroism gap in ways more interesting than just giving every other third class the exact heroism spell.
I've played a Draenei Shaman to level 16 so never really saw the differences.
They're exactly the same, except Heroism has a slightly different animation and sound effect played when you activate it.
Human women vs Troll women. Yet another reason we don't care. :winky:
Human women can't dance worth shit. Next!
Edit: Hahahah. :^:
Yes but have you tried to kiss a Troll woman with those teeth?
I think you meant to say it sounds awesome.
Awesomely silly, perhaps.

Agreed. I've had this feeling about the spec for a while now, but I continue to hold out hope.
