Happy: Ran both Azjol-Nerub and Old Kingdom for the achievements and quests, all in one evening, making it the most active instancing i've done in WotLK.
FFFFFFFFFFFF: My priest's name is no longer the only one in Europe...
Relief: My warrior's name is still the only one in the world! (at least counting level 10+)
Also, is it weird that I don't want to log on because I'm a "replenishment" class and don't want to feel obligated to go do things? I'm having more fun running through the old world getting silly achievements and such.
That's kind of a hate, right?
Also again, I don't want to be in the "progression" group. Not because I want easy loots with an experienced group, but because I don't feel like I'm good enough and don't want to hold people back by being retarded. So I'd rather see the content when it's farmed so I can see it with ruining anyones day. Loot or no loot. I mean, I'm sure I'd do fine. But it's always in the back of my head. Plus I've barely done any group stuff with my guild aside from the people who were in my previous guild. So it's like being invited to a party with a bunch of strangers who all know each other. And you're the weird guy no one really knows, other than you're a friend of a friend.
PS- Fuck me. I was at 3k gold and blew on crap rather than finish off another 2k for my epic flyer. Why the shit do I always do this? I need to get someone to act as my banker/accountant/whatever and hold my monies so I don't spend it on other things.
I also hate being in the progression group, because more often than not those fucks treat the game as a job. I don't want to come home from work, log in, and go back to work. I want to come home from work, log in, and have fun.
Yeah, yeah, join a different guild etc, thing is I like my guild, except at the beginning of each expansion, it's no longer hey lets go have fun! It's always learn2sriousbiznus. (Note this also happens at the release of something new, ZG, AQ, SSC, etc.)

You can now use Relic of Ulduar to level your reputation with the Sons of Hodir. Hodir's Tribute is a repeatable quest and will give you 250 (275 as a human) reputation for each turn-in.

Happy: Hit 20 on my Shaman. With water shield, LHW and ghost wolf playing him finally became fun.
Did you enjoy the water totem questline?
Oh come on, nobody enjoys that one. Espesially not if you're Horde.
Also, hate: The spelling of Gun'drak. Some parts of the game say it's Gun'drak, some parts say it's Gundrak. How am I supposed to be a pedantic grammar nazi about it if Blizzard can't even decide what it's called?
Bah. No shaman trainers in Eversong. There's a druid trainer right in the middle of goddamn Silvermoon City, how hard would it have been to put a shaman trainer there too?
Sure, the early totem quests are in Durotar and Barrens, but at least give me a viable option to level in Eversong.

Heh we hung around Darnassus for like twenty minutes trying to complete the achievement where you have to kill X Alliance defenders in each city. We even tried going on Alliance guilds' Vent to beg them to come let us kill them.
Hate: The Worst Mage in Dalaran: A Children's Book. I need one more book for Higher Learning and I keep AFKing here while I do dishes or fold clothes or watch TV and every time a book actually spawns it's a fake one.

Happy: finally picked up an epic helm with a meta slot, as well as a new tank chest, and I hit 25 badges which let me buy the awesomesauce ring from the 25man badge vendor. 28k unbuffed!

Possable Happy: Warlock was invited (As in whispered an invite, not blind 'join guild' pop-up) to an upstart guild called the Overseers. Seems like a nice group of guys. Leader hopes we can start doing 10 mans before the new year. It'll be nice to have a regular selection of players for groups at any rate, other then playing the PUG dice-roll.

We're never going to go out and defend those cities. They are in the middle of fucking nowhere. Shit please raze them to the ground so we convince them to build somewhere sane.
There were zero alliance about when we killed Velen.
I think there was some random 75ish hunter gawking when we razed Darnassus.

That'll be a nice use of phase tech. Have a "Heroic" Gnomeregan that after you clear it, it can become a dual/tri-race city with Gnomes and Draenei/Night elves.

It makes you awesome. This is how it is supposed to go, in my opinion. When the Skull-clad Cleaver finally drops in HoL, I will be #3 to get it. Our main tank right now is a DK, and I would be a serious dick to roll need on that axe when I already have an epic 2-hander in my main hand, while our tank is using a blue axe from some generic heroic boss. After him, there is another fury warrior in the guild who is in need of more upgrades than I am - so he would be #2. I will get mine 3rd - and I am ok with that. These upgrades will make my guild/friends stronger, which in turn makes us all stronger.
That's how I see it, at least. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe people are supposed to be cutthroat-greedy and milk a guild dry before moving on to another. (Ask me how my last guild died.)

Uh, they're all equally uselessly placed beyond level 58, after which you just use portals to get there. Exodar is a pretty nifty place to hang around when you're just hitting the bank and Auction house.
There were zero alliance about when we killed Velen.
I think there was some random 75ish hunter gawking when we razed Darnassus.
The guild website is running way slow or I'd link the picture (and I'm too lazy to copy it to imageshack or wherever), but the alliance resistance in Exodar was so low that after we killed Velen, someone in the raid dropped a portable mailbox and we posed for a picture on our bears by the demon hologram things. I think one random flagged level 10 draenei wandered too close to where we were setting up and got 1-shot, but that was about the only alliance we saw there until we went hunting for them further inside Exodar.
Darnassus was actually worse, though. We had to systematically deny the city all of its basic services (auction house, bank, class trainers, profession trainers, weapon masters, battlemasters, repair vendors, etc.) in order to get people to fight us in there. And even then, I think we ended up getting one of our dual-boxers to make a level 1 night elf and run it to Darnassus to help out.
The thing about the alliance towns is they're all interconnected: The Auberdine port links three of them together and SW and IF have the tram. This makes it really easy to raid them: IF, tram to SW, SW, harbor to Auberdine, boat to Darn or Exo, and then back to the other. Exo is made doubly easy since there's a fucking side door leading right to the boss that's easier to get to than the main entrance. And since allies never go to Exo (I have 0 ally kills in there even though I've killed the boss 3 times) it's made even easier.
Horde towns, on the other hand, aren't nearly as interconnected. You got SM to UC through the orb (can allies use that?) and the zeps between Org and UC (and even then the zep's not too useful as allies usually use the back door). TB's off in the middle of nowhere and is easy to defend if you know the allies are going to be hitting it as the only ways in are the elevators which let Boomkin, Shammies, and Mages kill tons of people with one button. UC's pretty easy too as they go through the small confines of the sewer usually that makes it easy to AoE them as they run in and pick them off. SM's pitiful and the boss is terrible so most horde don't even bother. Org's got a lot of people and two bosses so an unorganized alliance raid or an organized resistance will save Thrall from death.

like Silvermoon and Thunder Bluff for the Horde, especially now that you don't need to go to thunder bluff for Caverns of Time, or Silvermoon for Zul'Aman.
The lack of connectiveness for Horde cities is as much a curse as it is a blessing. TB might be easier to defend, but coaxing people out there is like pulling teeth. SM is pretty abandoned. I never understood Blizzard's thinking about capital placement. Capitals need to be central hubs - not a damned dead end on some spoke.

Yeah, I played an alliance toon for a year or so. Opening portals to darnassus after MC raids was the mages' prank of choice. Mostly I was refering to the utter lack of npc guards that I saw around Velen. At SW you have to run up that corridor lined with guards, and as we were running out of IF, we were chased by like 100 guards. Backdoor exodar? Nothing.
Rang the store I ordered my pc from, and their just waiting on the video card to come in. Which fingers crossed, should be today barring any unforeseen consequences.
