Dreadlock question

Call me a hippy or whatever, I don't really care, but is it possible to dreadlock a beard? I'm getting my hair done but I think it might be cool to do the beard too, if I don't like it I can just cut it and shave it off anyways.

that must be some beard. I feel like i've seen it done, so i'm sure its possible. If your hair is thick enough to lock, then so should be your beard if its long enough.

Yeah, well my beard as is can't do it. But I think if I could do it it would probably only be only one at the bottom. I doubt it's worth doing I'm mostly just curious.

yeah, i think you need a real nipple length beard at minimum. I know few who have the patience to produce such a thing.

Of course. You just need either a) very long beard hair or b) extensions. Beard hair tends to lock together different from head hair, so you get more of a puffy mass naturally. That, and due to food and other things, it tends to have any tighter locks come out before they can fully form. But hair is hair; just because beards are curlier than some hair (and less curly than others), doesn't mean you can turn it into a ropey dreadlock style.
