Misirlou on expert downed last night. 4 songs left to go.

I'm still shocked by how much the difficulty ramped up. I beat the first 35 songs on expert without losing once. The last group are a bitch.

I can't wait to try these out. :P Are these revealed at all in-game, or are people just obsessive and figuring ths out by themselves?

    Obsessive fans.
Also: Please tell me there's an "unlock all songs" code. I need one to tear up a demo kiosk near me!

I pretty certain there is... but don't know it offhand.

Yup, no alternate costumes for them :(

I would of liked A GH1 costume for Clive.

I think it's cool that Clive changed now. It is as if he evolved into Frank Zappa.

I'm glad you said it because it saved me from saying it. Then I posted this, so it all evens out.

    Please, moss?

I mean, me and my girlfriend beat the game on hard swapping the guitar. I want to play through it with her.

I dont know why more games don't do this. I mean, "it's about the band" :-D

WWF Smackdown 2 has a tag team career mode, and it was really fun.

This game needs more Dethklok. More songs, more playable characters that are Dethklok members, even a Dethklok stage.

It's great that they actually took the time to age the guitarists and progress their storylines. Clive was my favorite guitarist in the first game, and it was very cool to watch him grow into a badass amalgamation of all the great 70's rockers. By the same token, it's cool to see that no matter how things change, Axel is still Axel.

Also, that little animation where Clive turns around and directs the band was a nice touch. Harmonix really went the extra mile with this game, and their staff needs many baked goods and sexual favors as a reward.

I broke down and bought this yesterday. Good god I suck (I never played the first one). I'm kind of saddened that you can't do the encore songs in easy as I really wanted to try Warpigs.

Also all this talk of people getting 4-5 stars in Medium and Hard the first time is really scaring me.

I'm not sure how GS gave this less than 90.

They must have really, really hated the song list.

But even if you despised listening to every single song in the game, its still over a 90.

I have 2 more songs to 5 star in Hard, Carry Me Home and Psychobilly Freakout. Seriously, fuck those songs. They're harder to 5 star than Miserlou and Freebird.

Carry me home on Expert is raping me. I've been through the training but jesus christ. It's ridiculous. Psychobilly I can see getting through, but Carry me home...man...just no good, the rbr ry by ry sections just take me apart. I went through the entire hard campaign and didn't really struggle. But man, experts gonna take some time...

Well - I haven't gotten to play much bass or rhythm but that's why I think some are.

For example one of the few songs I played on Bass was John the Fisherman. The songs guitar is pretty weak - but the bass is insane!
I only tried it because a musician friend of mine told me so.

I actually meant to come back and ask you guys about any other songs that might be like that.

Tier 6 makes me happy in the pants. It's by far my favorite.

First play through I 5 starred all of medium. Went to hard and it's mostly 3's and a few fours. The difficulty really jumps. Rock this town and crazy on you are really tough in hard. I can't imagine expert. Your guitar-fu is much better than mine if these weren't tough for you.

All in all an awesome game. Better than 1.

I'm surprised that with all the talk about "X song is a crappy cover" that no one has mentioned "Them Bones". That was one of the worst to me. "killing in the name" and "Mother" were really bad too.

My loins ache for "Tribute" though. GH3 please!!

    Well it IS Primus...

I'd try more of the alternate tracks if they let you play them in quick play mode and not just in Co-Op. There HAS to be a way to do it...It makes no sense really.
