    # We have added over 60 new graveyards to Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms.
    is nice too.

Guys, I miss WoW so hard, I just had to tell someone.

I've been clean for over a year now (since sometime just before patch 2.3). At the time, I was playing actively: I was raiding Kara with a 70 lock and a 70 rogue, I had an epic flyer on the lock, and I was making some serious bank from dailys and mineral farming. Then, my video card died. I was really busy with school at the time anyway, so I decided to let my account go.

I'm building a new computer now, plus this coming semester is going to be very light, and I really want to get back into the game. I still read patch notes occasionally, and play with talent builds. Is WotLK wonderful? Is now a good time to get back into it for someone who's been gone for a year?

Actually, the answers to these questions don't matter. This is more of an internal battle as to whether or not I want to take that plunge again, and pledge to WoW my love and devotion, forsaking all other video games until death do us part. Because I know I'll get hooked again. I'm torn.

WOTLK is wonderful and now's an easy time to make money.

They should just give you the epic flying mount while dead like in Icecrown and Storm Peaks.

Just imagine if those boosts stacked with one another. You could become Node-Czars.

I think going much faster would cause the nodes to load in after you already flew past.

It's no sound barrier, but a "faster than the speed of your internet" is a close second.

At 280% speed you can already fly over nodes before they phase in, the game can't render that fast.

Okay so the next patch, the one that's on the PTR right now, is going to open up account-wide deathknight accounts, right?

And it's a content-less balance patch, right? So we can expect that it'll drop in like two-three weeks?

If you're min-maxing for raids, then probably yes. Poison-wise I think you'd be okay if you're just using your offhand to stack deadly and let it tick(what do combat rogues generally do, by the way?), but combat potency will lick ass with a 2.6 offhand. Around 50-60% efficiency compared to a regular fast offhand.

I have never really raided so take this info with a salted granule.

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=define%3A+greed&aq=f&oq=

"Greed" generally implies that the desire for more [money] is at odds with some moral code, involves detrimental results for others, etc. What blizzard is doing is none of these, they are simply charging what the market is willing to pay.
    Semantics, but basically:

    http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/greed
    –noun
excessive or rapacious desire, esp. for wealth or possessions.

That's been the definition that I've always accepted and used.

I wasn't going to reply to any of these because it was yesterday and probably conversation over by now..

But there's nothing excessive about what Blizzard makes in the form of money.
It only becomes excessive once people are no longer willing to pay it.

Keep in mind that they're being nerfed next patch. You'd probably replace them by then but anyway the new stats are:

    189 - 353 Damage Speed 2.60
    (104.2 damage per second)
    +30 Agility (down from 44)
    Durability 90 / 90
    Requires Level 74
Equip: Improves hit rating by 20 (down from 29)
Equip: Increases attack power by 40 (down from 60)

It will be back to whale stick harpoon for my hunter.

My subscription expired about twelve hours ago, and I'm sitting here trying to think of reasons not to resub. One method I tried was to go calculate all of the money I've spent on WoW to try to dissuade myself. With character transfers, subscription fees, and expansion packs, plus the initial game, I've spent roughly $815 since December 2004.

One more month isn't going to be that big of a deal. Right?

You would have probably spent that $815 on fastfood, movies, and crappy video games you play only half-way through before shelving. Resubscribe, the life you lose to Warcraft isn't nearly as precious as they make it sound.
