Laptop Will Not Connect To Router

Hey everyone.

I've got connection problems with a laptop that I have borrowed. It will not connect to my router. The router is working fine and the wireless adapter on the laptop is also working. I can see my router ID but it will not give me the option to connect to it but will connect to all other routers in the area. I can only imagine that it's a problem with the laptop itself.

If anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate it greatly.

Thanks.

    need more information.

    What computer are you using?
    What OS are you running?
    What router are you using?
What kind of network security are you using? WPA? WEP?

I did some fiddling and out of the blue it connected.

Thanks for taking an interest Natsus. This should probably be locked now.
