The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
This started a few nights ago, when Youtube did one of those "site maintenance" things. I'm based in Canada, and until now have simply been directed to www.youtube.com whenever I web browse. I use Safari (I know it's shit but all my bookmarks and stuff are on it, and importing to the Firefox I downloaded doesn't seem to work properly). Now, after the site maintenance, every time I go to youtube, I'm directed to au.youtube.com instead. Not only that, but it runs slower than regular youtube. But when I do it in Firefox, it goes to www.youtube.com and works fine. What gives?
First thing i'd do is get rid of my temporary internet files, trash the cash so to speak. I don't know why safari would be acting weird. Back up your safari bookmarks folder, uninstall it, clean house, download the latest versions of safari and reinstall it and see if it works?
Alternatively, start using firefox as your main browser, it has a number of handy features and isn't being a pain the the ass....
