Overscan

Is there any media streaming program for the 360 and/or ps3 that compensates for overscan?

If you stream a video file from the computer, the computer video goes all the way to the edge. Normal TV shows have a border around the picture, and the TV cuts off this border because it's overscan.

Well this TV feature cuts off the edges of the computer video since it usually doesn't have the extra space for overscan.

So any programs that fix that while streaming? TVersity is what I use, and it doesn't have one. FFDShow has a border option that would work if I could ever get it to show on the 360/ps3.

At the risk of stating the obvious, does your TV have a "no overscan" mode? Most widescreens do for certain inputs.

Ran through my options multiple times on my TV and didn't find one.
