Edit: Got it, just formated the Zune and reinstalled the firmware. Only took a minute to sync again so no biggie.
Edit: and why can I not understand how to change the thread title now? I get it by clicking sometimes but... whats the trick?
My brother has had a Zune for a while and I saw we had a free two week pass for the Zune Pass.
Set it up about two days ago and everything was good. He came home today saying he couldn't play any music.
And it won't.
It said his license had expired or some such. So I synced it to the PC and now it's saying the files are missing from the Zune when I try to play them.
I tried reseting the zune as well as the PC and nothing still. I can still stream files on the PC with Zune Pass so the account itself is not the problem.
Edit : whenever I plug in the Zune it says the account info for the device is incorrect and to log in to fix it.
I do.. and nothing happens.

even if the songs are on your player.
it shouldnt have done that in 2 days though. try contacting zune support or zune help, if i remember right you need to use a credit card for the zune pass so it might have had some problem if you used yours for your brothers account.
The credit card shouldn't have been a problem either, I made the account for my brother, but for all legal purposes my name is the only one on the account.
Edit : Hell, even when I remove the Zune, without opening anything, I get the message "the item is missing and can not be played"
