It's totally intentional. 30 Rock has the best writing on television right now. Its second only to Arrested Development in terms of modern sitcom awesomeness.

faster than muting everyone individually, however, pressing whatever button you've bound to talk will set cl_voiceenable 1, essentially unmuting everyone.
also, I didn't sleep at all last night so when I woke up like... now, at 8:00 PM most of my buddies already went out to party and I have no car due to dead battery.
6pack + marijuana + PA TF2 = only fun ever needed.
